The present invention relates to a multilayer information page () for a security document, which includes an information part () manufactured from a material allowing at least some identification information of the information page to be entered thereto by utilizing laser engraving, the identification information provided on the information page () being readable from an upper surface thereof, and a flexible and bending resistant connecting part () for connecting the information page () to the security document, the connecting part () comprising a fastening end () by means of which the connecting part () is fastened to the information part (). In order to ensure that detachment of the information part and the connecting part from one another leaves visible marks, the fastening end () of the connecting part () is arranged to overlap with a lower surface of the information part (). Furthermore, the information page () includes a transparent surface layer () which covers at least the fastening end () and at least a part of the lower surface of the information part () and through which at least the fastening end () is visible.

Method of producing an information page for a security document

An information page () of a security document, includes: an information part (), on the upper or lower surface of which part of the information recorded on the information page () can be seen; and a flexible connecting part () with good bending strength for attaching the information page () to a security document. To ensure that detaching the information part and the connecting part from each other leaves visible marks, the connecting part () has a netlike structure, and the connecting part () is arranged to penetrate into the information part () in the immediate vicinity of the upper or lower surface of the information part.

Information page

An information page () and method are provided for a security document. The information page includes: an information part (), and an attachment part () for attaching the information part to the security document. In order to make forgery visually detectable, the information part () is provided with a unique identifier (), and the attachment part (') is provided with the same unique identifier () as the information part ().

The invention relates to a smartcard () comprising: a first section () enclosing a contactless microcircuit (). In order to improve the security of the smart card against forgery said smartcard comprises: a compensation section () of a transparent material, said compensation section having substantially the same thickness as the first section () and surrounding said first section, a top section () of a transparent material, said top section being arranged on top of said first section () and said compensation section () as a surface layer of said smartcard (), and a bottom section () of a transparent material, said bottom section being arranged under said first section () and said compensation section () as a surface layer of said smartcard ().
