A control system includes at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code is configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the control system to at least perform: controlling application contents displayed by a plurality of displays associated with an elevator system, each application content having an associated respective priority; obtaining a triggering event associated with the elevator system; and changing application content of at least one of the plurality of displays based on the triggering event and the priority associated with each of the application contents.

Control of multiple displays associated with an elevator system

A method remotely recovers at least one peripheral device of a people conveyor system. The method includes controlling at least one network element, into which the at least one peripheral device is connected, to control power supply of the at least one peripheral device to remotely recover the at least one peripheral device. Elevators and other facilities in buildings and other constructed environments can be controlled remotely. In an advanced controlling method at least one person is guided through constructed environment along a predetermined route. When the route is known facilities, such as elevators, may be called or activated in advance so that the person guided along the route does not need to do it when arriving at the area of influence of the facility. When there are more than one person travelling the routes may be combined such that the central system controlling allocations of facilities may call or activate resources more than one person.

Public displays are used for various purposes. They are used for displaying any kind of information and even for controlling devices such as elevators. In order to provide best possible benefit the public display should be displaying information in a language that the viewer understands and in a manner that the user can read the text on the display. The user preferences may be selected and applied by requesting a user preference indication from a mobile device. If the room includes more than one person the user preference indication is received from a plurality of persons and the decision of user preferences to be used is done then based on the received indications.

Display language arrangement

A method and a system for generating destination calls for an elevator system is described, wherein a passenger can give personal destination calls with his/her terminal device as well as on the basis of identification of the person in at least one identification point. A passenger is identified at an identification point, on the basis of which the home floor of the passenger is determined and a destination call to the home floor is generated for the elevator system if the passenger does not have a valid destination call at the time of identification.

Generating destination calls for an elevator system

The invention allows personalization of an elevator service in an elevator system with destination control. Sensor data provided by a three-dimensional motion sensor and related to a passenger tracked by the three-dimensional motion sensor is received at a service unit of the elevator system with destination control. A personalized elevator service functionality for the tracked passenger is determined with the service unit based at least on the received sensor data. The personalized elevator service functionality is triggered with the service unit.
