A display device can include a display panel, a roller which guides the sliding of the display panel, a rotary shaft which passes through both ends of the roller, and an elastic member having one end connected to an inner circumferential surface of the roller and the other end connected to the rotary shaft, and the roller and the rotary shaft are rotatably connected to each other. Accordingly, according to the present disclosure, one end and the other end of the elastic member are configured to be rotatable to minimize the excessive increase of the tensile stress of the elastic member which is transmitted to the display panel and improve the reliability of the display panel.

A display device includes a display assembly including a display panel and a back cover configured to support a rear surface of the display panel, a roller configured to wind or unwind the display assembly, a drive assembly configured to move the roller in an amount corresponding to a winding amount or an unwinding amount of the display assembly about the roller, and a housing configured to accommodate the display assembly, the roller and the drive assembly, the housing having an opening through which the display assembly moves in and out of the housing in response to rotation of the roller.

A display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display panel, a roller on which the display panel is wound or unwound, and a lifting unit configured to move the display panel in a vertical direction, wherein the lifting unit includes a plurality of chain units configured to be coupled when ascending and separated from each other when descending, a first power transmission unit configured to lift the plurality of chain units, and a second power transmission unit configured to couple or separate the plurality of chain units by switching movement directions of the plurality of chain units, so that durability and wobbling of the display device can be improved.

A supporting frame for a flexible display panel includes a bending member and a plurality of supporting members. The bending member supports a bendable area of the flexible display panel and is configured to be bent. The plurality of supporting members support non-bendable display areas of the flexible display panel, and each connect to a plurality of connecting surfaces of the bending member.

Embodiments relate to a foldable display apparatus including a hinge providing supporting for a bending area of a flexible display panel. The flexible display panel includes a first flat display area and a second flat display area at both sides of a bending display area. A first rear cover provides support for the first flat display area and has a first edge. A second rear cover provides support for the second flat display area and has having a second edge facing the first edge and parallel to the first edge. The hinge includes rear hinge covers longitudinally extending parallel to the first edge and the second edge, and elastic axis members coupling the plurality of rear hinge covers in an interlocking and rotatable manner. The elastic axis members are deformed as the rear hinge covers make a relative movement by bending of the hinge.
