The present disclosure is directed to provide a reinforced resin composition excellent in mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and a molded product including such a reinforced resin composition. A reinforced resin composition of the present disclosure includes (A) a polyamide; (B) a polyamide; (C) a polyphenylene ether; and (D) an inorganic filler, wherein a mass ratio of the component (C) with respect to 100 parts by mass of a sum of the component (A), the component (B), and the component (C) is from 20 to 50 parts by mass, ΔHis 10 J/g or more, and ΔHis 35 J/g or less.

The flame-retardant resin composition contains: (A) a resin including (A-1) a polyphenylene ether; and (B) a flame retardant. The (A-1) component has a content of 50 mass % or more when the flame-retardant resin composition minus ash content, corresponding to a residue obtained upon burning of the flame-retardant resin composition, is taken to be 100 mass %. A shaped article of 12.6 cm in length, 1.3 cm in width, and 1.6 mm in thickness formed from the flame-retardant resin composition exhibits a rate of change of chloroform-insoluble content of 15 mass % or less through aging in which the shaped article is left for 1,000 hours at 150&#xb0; C. in an atmospheric air.

Polyphenylene ether flame-retardant resin composition

Provided are a resin composition and a shaped product having excellent smoke generation properties and chemical resistance. The resin composition and the shaped product contain: a polyphenylene ether resin (I); a polypropylene resin (II); a hydrogenated block copolymer (III) that is a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer including a polymer block A and a polymer block B in which the total amount of vinyl bonding is 30-90%; and a phosphate ester compound (IV). Relative to 100 parts by mass, in total, of components (I) and (II), component (I) is 40-99 parts by mass, component (II) is 1-60 parts by mass, component (III) is 1-20 parts by mass, and component (IV) is 5-45 parts by mass.
