A battery includes a battery element, a housing body, and a valve device. The housing body houses the battery element. The valve device is in communication with the inside of the housing body. Heat-sealable resin layers face each other in a peripheral edge portion of the housing body. A joined edge portion in which the mutually facing heat-sealable resin layers are fused together is formed in the peripheral edge portion of the housing body. The valve device is configured to reduce an internal pressure of the housing body if the internal pressure is increased due to gas generated in the housing body. The valve device includes a first portion that is located on an outer side of an edge of the joined edge portion and a second portion that is sandwiched between the heat-sealable resin layers in the joined edge portion.

Heat sealing apparatus for a battery

A battery includes a battery element, housing body, and valve device. The housing body has a laminate including a base material, barrier, and heat-sealable resin layers. The valve device is in communication with the housing body inside. A joined edge portion in which the mutually facing heat-sealable resin layers are fused together is formed in a housing body peripheral edge portion. The valve device includes first and second portions. A valve mechanism reduces the housing body internal pressure if it is increased due to gas generated in the housing body is formed in the first portion. An air passage guides gas generated in the housing body toward the valve mechanism is formed in the second portion. The first portion is located on a joined edge portion edge outer side. An exterior material for an all-solid-state battery, wherein hydrogen sulfide generated inside the all-solid-state battery including a sulfide solid electrolyte material is effectively suppressed from leaking to the outside. The exterior material for an all-solid-state battery is used for an all-solid-state battery including a sulfide solid electrolyte material, and is composed of a laminate having: at least a substrate layer; a barrier layer; and a heat-fusible resin layer in this order from the outside, wherein the amount of hydrogen sulfide permeation through the resin constituting the heat-fusible resin layer is 1.0×10cc·mm/cm·sec·cmHg or less.

Exterior material for all-solid-state battery, method for manufacturing same, and all-solid-state battery

A valve structural body that is easy to attach to a container is for a power storage device, and includes a casing in which a passage through which gas generated inside of the container is discharged to the outside of the container is formed, and a valve mechanism that is accommodated in the casing and allows the gas to pass through the passage to the outside of the container via the passage if the internal pressure of the container has risen due to the gas generated inside of the container. The casing includes a first plane, and a second plane that is parallel to the first plane.

A valve device for a power storage device that can, when a gas is generated inside the power storage device, release the gas to the outside, and can highly prevent the intrusion of moisture from an external environment, the power storage device including: a power storage device element and a housing in which the element is housed, the valve device being attached to the housing, wherein the valve device is configured to reduce an internal pressure of the housing when the pressure increases due to a gas generated inside, and in the valve device, an amount of helium leakage from a secondary side to a primary side is 5.0×10Pa·m/sec or more and 5.0×10Pa·m/sec or less, as measured in a 25° C. environment, in accordance with a method defined in 'Vacuum spraying method (spray method)' of “Method for helium leak testing” in JIS Z 2331: 2006.

Valve device for power storage device and power storage device

A battery includes a battery element, housing body, and valve device. The housing body includes at least one laminate and an interior space wherein the battery element is housed, a first housing portion covers the interior space from a first side in a thickness direction, and a second housing portion that covers the interior space from a second side opposite to the first side in the thickness direction. The valve device attaches to the housing body and makes the interior space communicate with an external space. A joined edge portion is formed in the housing body by the first and second housing portion being fused along respective peripheral edges. The valve device is between the first and second housing portion in the joined edge portion, and an inner end of the valve device protrudes from an inner edge of the joined edge portion toward the interior space.

Battery

A valve device is a valve device for attaching to a storage body. This valve device is provided with a valve device main body and an adhesive member. The valve device main body is configured to reduce pressure inside the storage body in the case where the pressure increases due to gas produced inside the storage body. The adhesive member is adhered to an outer periphery of the valve device main body, and is configured to adhere to the storage body. A hole through which the gas passes is formed in an end face of the valve device main body.

A valve for forming a passage through an inside and an outside of a packaging container constituted by resin molded articles or films are in communication with each other includes a breakable valve that's arranged to block the passage and splits open when internal pressure of the packaging container increases due to gas generated inside the packaging container, a check valve that's arranged on a secondary side located on an outer side to the breakable valve in the passage and through which the gas is discharged from the inside of the packaging container to the outside thereof according to internal pressure of the packaging container after the breakable valve has split open, and an attachment portion that delimits at least a portion of the passage and is fixed to the packaging container in a state of being sandwiched between the resin molded articles or the films constituting the packaging container.

A battery includes a battery element, a housing body, and a valve device. The valve device is attached to the housing body and can make interior space of housing body be in communication with an external space. The valve device is sandwiched between the first and second housing portion in the joined edge portion, and an inner end of the valve device protrudes from an inner edge of joined edge portion toward the interior space.

Battery packaging material, having a valve device

A main object of the present invention is to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell capable of improving photoelectric conversion efficiency, which is obtained at low costs, and a dye-sensitized solar cell module using the solar cell. The present invention solves the problem by providing a dye-sensitized solar cell comprising: an oxide semiconductor electrode substrate having: a first electrode base material provided with a function as an electrode, and a porous layer formed on the first electrode base material and containing a dye-sensitizer-supported fine particle of a metal oxide semiconductor; and a counter substrate having a second electrode base material provided with a function as an electrode; and a polymer electrolyte layer formed between the oxide semiconductor electrode substrate and the counter substrate so as to contact with the porous layer, in which the oxide semiconductor electrode substrate and the counter substrate are disposed such that the porous layer and the second electrode base material are opposed to each other, wherein at least one of the first electrode base material and the second electrode base material is a base material having transparency and wherein the polymer electrolyte layer contains a transparent fine particle, a polymeric compound and a redox pair.

Dye-sensitized solar cell

A simple method that makes it possible to manufacture a highly-workable organic solar cell module having a plurality of connected organic solar cells is provided. The method includes: a first electrode substrate forming step of forming a plurality of first electrode layers on a first substrate to form a first electrode substrate; preparing a single piece of second electrode substrate-forming base material having at least a second electrode layer and capable of being cut into a plurality of second electrode substrates; a functional layer forming step; a cutting step to form a plurality of second electrode substrates; a bonding step so that the first and second electrode substrates are bonded together; and a connecting step of electrically connecting the first electrode layer of one of the organic solar cells to the second electrode layer of another organic solar cell which is adjacent to the one organic solar cell.
