A reinforcing structure is provided for an underbody of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle has an axle support, in particular a rear axle support, wherein the axle support has a first and a second holder, which are spaced apart from one another in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The reinforcing structure has a transverse connecting strut and a first and a second axle support linkage. The transverse connecting strut is connected to both the first and the second axle support linkage, and the first holder of the axle support can be connected to the first axle support linkage and the second holder of the axle support can be connected to the second axle support linkage.

For improving the driving dynamics of a motor vehicle with two rear longitudinal members which are spaced apart from one another and which each have a rear axle bushing for receiving a rear axle and are connected to one another by a cross-member which is at the rear in the main travel direction of the motor vehicle, the rear cross-member has in the plane of its extent an offset in the direction of the rear of the vehicle. When considered in the vertical direction of the motor vehicle, an upper cross-member is located above the rear cross-member, wherein the upper cross-member is attached to the rear longitudinal members in the region of the respective rear axle bushings.

A motor vehicle has a receiving element for a torsion bar. In order to devise a motor vehicle which has a receiving element for a torsion bar and in which the receiving element has a simple design and reduced weight while avoiding drawbacks in respect of the sealing effect and the available space, the receiving element consists essentially of a monolithic extruded profile.

The invention relates to a shell structure having a force transmission point, wherein a force transmission structure is provided on the force transmission point, wherein the force transmission structure has a fitting element comprising a fastening element, wherein the fitting element is connected to the shell structure. According to the invention, the fitting element has a contact surface having the shell structure and the contact surface can be clamped with or is clamped with the shell structure.

A vehicle body, preferably for a motor vehicle with four wheels, includes two side members extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, at least one support, which extends in the vehicle transverse direction between the two side members, and at least one molded foam part that reinforces the vehicle body. The foam part is arranged in a lateral structure of the vehicle body at the height level of the support.

A motor vehicle body includes a body center section. The body center section has a rear floor and a cross member connected thereto, which are made of fiber-reinforced plastic material. The cross member preferably extends between a left lateral longitudinal beam and a right lateral longitudinal beam. The motor vehicle body can be self-supporting.
