Actuator having a spindle drive () for a rear wheel steering system, including a spindle () with a spindle thread () and a spindle nut () with a nut thread (). The spindle thread () and the nut thread () are designed as displacement threads and the spindle nut () threadedly engages with the axially displaceable spindle () by way of the displacement thread. The spindle thread () and the nut thread () are braced against one another, in the longitudinal direction of the spindle (), by a bracing element (). The bracing element () is in the form of a threaded ring having an internal thread () which engages with the spindle thread (). The threaded ring () is supported relative to the spindle nut () by at least one spring element (), and the at least one spring element () is made of an elastomer.
