Disclosed herein are two-wire communication systems and applications thereof. In some embodiments, a slave node transceiver for low latency communication may include upstream transceiver circuitry to receive a first signal transmitted over a two-wire bus from an upstream device and to provide a second signal over the two-wire bus to the upstream device; downstream transceiver circuitry to provide a third signal downstream over the two-wire bus toward a downstream device and to receive a fourth signal over the two-wire bus from the downstream device; and clock circuitry to generate a clock signal at the slave node transceiver based on a preamble of a synchronization control frame in the first signal, wherein timing of the receipt and provision of signals over the two-wire bus by the node transceiver is based on the clock signal.

Two-wire communication systems and applications

There is disclosed in one example an audio processor, including: an audio crossover to separate a first frequency band from a second frequency band, the first frequency band having a lower frequency band than the second frequency band; an excursion estimator to estimate from information of the first frequency band a predicted excursion of a low-frequency driver; an interpolator to interpolate an adjustment to the second frequency band to compensate for the estimated excursion; and circuitry to drive the adjusted second frequency to a receiver.

Doppler compensation in coaxial and offset speakers

Systems and methods for optically measuring displacement of an element include an emitter for emitting an optical signal, a first detector for detecting reflections of the optical signal from the element, a second detector for detecting reflections of the optical signal from a raised cover structure, a processor for receiving the detected reflections from the first and second detectors and removing distortions in the detected reflections from the first detector using the detected reflections from the second detector.

Optical measurement of displacement

Speakers do not always operate linearly. Linearity of the speaker can affect the quality of the sound produced by the speaker, i.e., causing distortions in the sound, if the nonlinearites are not accounted for. To determine nonlinearities of the speaker, the speaker is often modeled and measurements are made to estimate the characteristics of the speaker based on the model. By using an angle sensor and a light source, a speaker manager can make a direct measurement of excursion or displacement of the speaker. Moreover, when the angle sensor, the light source, and the light beam are configured appropriately with respect to the moving cone of the speaker, the measurement can be substantially linear with respect to the amount of excursion or displacement. Such measurements are far simpler to use and in some cases more accurate than measurements made by other types of systems.

Optical and capacitive sensing of electroacoustic transducers

Disclosed herein are systems and technique for distributed audio coordination over a two-wire communication bus. For example, in some embodiments, a first slave device may include circuitry to receive, over a two-wire bus a synchronization control frame, audio data, and a dynamics processor (DP) parameter for a second audio device coupled to a second slave device. The first slave device may include circuitry to derive timing information from the synchronization control frame, and circuitry to provide the audio data and a DP parameter (based on the DP parameter for the second audio device) to a first audio device coupled to the first slave device.

Distributed audio coordination over a two-wire communication bus

Disclosed herein are systems and techniques for peripheral device diagnostics and control over a two-wire communication bus. For example, in some embodiments, a slave device may include circuitry to receive a synchronization control frame from an upstream device, receive audio data from the upstream device subsequent to receipt of the synchronization control frame, provide a synchronization response frame toward the upstream device, and provide first data representative of an operational characteristic of an audio device coupled to the slave device subsequent to provision of the synchronization response frame; circuitry to derive timing information from the synchronization control frame; and circuitry to provide the audio data to the audio device, and receive, from a sensor coupled to the slave device, second data representative of the operational characteristic of the audio device.

Peripheral device diagnostics and control over a two-wire communication bus

A computer program product and method for using a computer program product for graphically developing a computer program for execution at least in part on a separate host processor device, such as, a digital signal processor. The computer program product includes code for providing a graphical programming environment. The computer code which is used for developing the computer program includes a cell module for graphically representing a graphical control. The cell module does not contain any host processor specific code. The cell module may include code for rendering on the display of the computer that is operating as the programming environment one or more graphical controls. The cell module may also contain host processor independent code that accepts input from a user (parameter value) and converts the parameter value or applies an equation to the parameter value. The computer program also includes a plurality of algorithm modules, wherein each algorithm module provides functional code for the graphical control. The functional code is host processor specific code. The computer program also includes computer code for associating the cell module with one or more of the plurality of algorithm modules for developing the computer program. The computer program also includes code for defining an execution path amongst the algorithm modules. This can be achieved by graphically connecting the cell modules and defining an input and output.

Graphical computer programming

A lightweight decoy comprises a fabric sheet having a front portion with a digital image and a rear portion and is provided rigidity by a flat flexible perimeter band fastened generally to the perimeter of the fabric sheet. The perimeter band is capable of twisting and folding onto itself such that the decoy is collapsible into a reduced size for transport. By means of a plurality of straps, the decoy may be attached to a support such as a bow or tripod. A central opening through the fabric sheet is capable of receiving a firearm barrel, an arrow or a camera lens.

A computer program for creating a computer program executable on one or more digital signal processors each having a predefined function set. The computer program includes computer code for receiving user input selecting one or more digital signal processors. The computer program also includes computer code for defining one or more audio digital signal processing graphical controls. Each graphical control has an associated interface handler. The computer program also has computer code for associating an algorithm module containing digital processor specific functionality with the one or more audio graphical controls using the interface handler and computer code for linking the one or more audio graphical controls together defining an execution path. The computer program product may also include computer code for simulating execution according to the execution path of the digital processor specific functionality on a digital signal processor using a time domain equation or frequency response representation contained within the algorithm module. The computer program product may also include computer code for compiling the digital processor specific functionality according to the execution path.

Graphical computer programming for a digital signal processor

A method and computer program product for adding additional functionality to a graphical control for use in a computer program. The method requires providing a graphical control that is displayable on a display device where the graphical control has at least one associated input or one associated output. Initially, the graphical control does not have an associated function. A user can then select a function from a list of functions to associate with the graphical control. The list of functions is associated with computer code for implementing the functions on a particular digital signal processor. The computer system determines whether a new input or output needs to be added to the graphical control based upon a selected function from the list of functions. The computer system also determines if the graphical control should be stacked or repeated. A plurality of functions may be associated with a single graphical control. In certain embodiments, a plurality of different digital signal processors is associated with a single graphical control.
