A method for producing a recorded matter includes a first ejection step of ejecting a first ink, which is a radiation-curable ink jet composition, and adhering the first ink to a recording medium, a first irradiation step of irradiating radiation to the first ink adhered to the recording medium to obtain a cured coating film of the first ink, a second ejection step of ejecting a second ink, which is a radiation-curable ink jet composition, and adhering the second ink with a plurality of dot sizes to the cured coating film of the first ink so that the duty is less than 100%, a second irradiation step of irradiating radiation to the second ink adhered to the recording medium to cure the second ink, obtaining a recorded matter, and a lamination step of laminating, in the recorded matter, a recording surface to which the first ink and the second ink have been adhered, and a non-recording surface to which the first ink and the second ink have not been adhered, so that both surfaces face each other.

Method for producing recorded matter

A radiation-curable ink jet composition used in an ink jet printing apparatus including an ink jet head using a material with an SP value of 7.0 (J/cm)to 8.0 (J/cm)in a flow path is provided. The radiation-curable ink jet composition contains polymerizable monomers A including at least one polymerizable monomer B with an SP value of 7.0 (J/cm)or less or 8.0 (J/cm)or more and at least one polymerizable monomer C with an SP value of more than 7.0 (J/cm)to less than 8.0 (J/cm). The amount of the at least one polymerizable monomer B is 20% by mass or more relative to the total mass of the ink jet composition, and the amount of the at least one polymerizable monomer C is 22.5% by mass or less relative to the total mass of the ink jet composition.

Radiation-curable ink jet composition and ink jet printing apparatus

A radiation-curable ink jet ink composition contains polymerizable monomers A including at least one monofunctional monomer B and at least one multifunctional monomer C. The polymerizable monomers A include at least one polymerizable monomer A1 whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of 50° C. or more in a proportion of 20% by mass or more relative to the total mass of the polymerizable monomers A. A radiation-curable ink jet composition includes a polymerizable compound component including a monofunctional monomer component and a multifunctional monomer component, a photopolymerization initiator, and titanium oxide as a white color material.
