Transmissions and clutch assemblies for transmissions are disclosed herein. A transmission includes an input shaft, an output shaft, and a clutch assembly. The input shaft is configured to receive rotational power. The output shaft is configured to transmit rotational power to a load. The clutch assembly is coupled between the input shaft and the output shaft to selectively transmit rotational power therebetween in use of the transmission. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a piston, and a disc spring. The piston is movable relative to the housing and cooperates with the housing to at least partially define a first cavity that is configured to receive hydraulic fluid such that a first centrifugal pressure force is created in use of the clutch assembly. The disc spring is movable relative to the housing.

Valve assemblies, clips adapted for use in valve assemblies, and methods of assembling valve assemblies are disclosed herein. A valve assembly includes a solenoid, a valve body, and a clip. The valve body is coupled to the solenoid and extends along a valve body axis. The valve body includes a first inner surface that defines an interior passage, a second inner surface that defines a groove in fluid communication with the interior passage, and a shoulder defined at an interface between the first inner surface and the second inner surface. The clip is coupled to the solenoid and the valve body.

An electronic device, such as a set top box comprises an enclosure that houses a circuit board having a peripheral edge positioned in the set top box. A heat sink has orientation features on its periphery that contact and orient the circuit board. Further, the heat sink has positioning tabs at a leading edge that contact a control surface on a rear wall of the set top box enclosure and orients the heat sink within the set top box. Antenna assemblies are positioned in corners of the set top box enclosure and adjacent to one of the vertically oriented walls, wherein the antenna assemblies are positioned outside the peripheral edge of the circuit board and the periphery of the heat sink.

Devices and methods for routing cables through a printed circuit board (PCB) include an enclosure having at least one cable guide and a cable duct. A PCB is mounted in the enclosure, such that the cable duct penetrates the PCB through a hole in the PCB. At least one additional component is mounted in the enclosure and connected to at least one cable that is attached to the at least one cable guide and the cable duct. The at least one cable enters the duct on a first side of the PCB and exits the duct on a second side of the PCB.

An improved F-connector can be mounted perpendicularly on a printed circuit board to reduce radiated emissions by using an integrated shield flange on the F-connector body. The improved F-connector is attached to a shield frame that is part of an RF shield containment box mounted on the printed circuit board. In one embodiment, the shield flange is integral to the improved F-connector body and is manufactured to fill the gap between an RF shield frame and a corresponding RF shield cover. The improved F-connector with integral shielding flange mounted on the shield frame utilizes the shield flange of the improved F-connector to fill the physical gaps between the shield cover the improved F-connector. With reduced or eliminated physical gaps, the radiated emission of the assembly are either reduced or eliminated.

A wire retention cover for an antenna mounting arrangement within an electronic device is configured to be positioned over an edge of a printed circuit board and protect the antenna wires and connectors on the connector side thereof. A non-connector side portion or leg of the cover includes one or more slots for receiving antenna wires. A connector side portion or leg of the cover includes raised and lowered portions. The raised portions are configured to cover and protect antenna wire connections to the PCB.
