Provided is a method for obtaining an item of cookware, including the following steps of: &#x2014;producing or providing a blank from a textured sheet of stainless steel having at least one textured face, &#x2014;stamping the blank in order to form a cap () having an inner face () and an outer face (), the outer face () having parts in relief corresponding to the textured face of the blank, &#x2014;optionally, partially covering the outer face () of the cap (), &#x2014;carrying out a mechanical finishing treatment of the free surface of the outer face () of the cap () in order to expose the stainless steel at the parts in relief of the free surface of the outer face () of the cap (). Also provided is an item of cookware including a stamped cap () made of stainless steel having an inner face () and an outer face (), wherein the outer face () of the cap () has a textured free surface ().

The present invention relates to a cooking device including a metal holder supporting a ceramic cooking surface, the holder having a hardness no lower than 150 HV. The holder forms a substrate supporting a surface layer made of a transition metal boride or boronitride forming the cooking surface. The present invention further relates to a culinary article including a cooking device of the type above-mentioned, a household cooking appliance including a cooking device of the type above-mentioned, as well as a method for producing a cooking device of the type above-mentioned.
