In order to switch, especially aerials, between two channels while at the same time ensuring pressure contact with a sufficiently wide contact area, a connector ( ) is made which includes a resilient switching blade ( ) provided with a side arm ( ). This side arm ( ) ensures linear contact with a pin ( ) of another connector, especially a coaxial connector ( ). This improvement means that such a connector is simple to use, to mount on a printed circuit.

Connector with switching device

A plug connector comprises an insulating housing, a shielding ( ), contacts ( ) mounted in the housing, at least one element ( ) to latch the plug connector in a receptacle connector, and a button ( ) to operate the latch element. A locating peg ( ) is to be received in a chamber of the receptacle connector. The housing comprises an inner ( ) section, made as a contact block accommodating the contacts and an outer section in the form of interconnected top ( ) and bottom ( ) covers and including the locating peg(s) and the button.

Plug-type input/output connector

A mobile telephone including a housing ( ) containing an electrical circuit ( ) and carrying a cover ( ) fastened to the housing in an articulated manner. The telephone also comprises a microphone and rotary contacts incorporated in one of the two joints connecting the cover ( ) to the housing ( ), in order to make electrical connections between the electrical circuit ( ) and the microphone.
