A device connector includes device-side terminals (), a device-side shield shell (), harness-side terminals () to be fixed to a plurality of wires () and connected to the device-side terminals () by bolts () and a harness-side shield shell () connected to a braided wire () surrounding the wires (). The harness-side shield shell () includes a first shell () and a second shell (). The first shell () is fixed to the braided wire () and includes an operation cutout () for enabling a connecting operation of the device-side terminals () and the harness-side terminals () by the bolts (). The operation cutout () is closed by the second shell ().

Device connector with improved operability when connecting harness-side terminals and device-side terminals

Two connectors () are separated until an initially connected state is reached by rotating a nut () in a loosening direction to release the nut () from a threadedly engaged state in a properly connected state of the two connectors (), and an interlock circuit is turned off during this time to set a power supply circuit to a cut-off state. A partial locking mechanism () is provided between the two connectors () for preventing any further separation by locking the power-supply side connector () when the power-supply side connector () is separated up to an initial connection position and enabling the power-supply side connector () to be completely separated when a specified force or larger is applied to the power-supply side connector ().

Connector device with electrical connection detection function

A connector apparatus has an equipment-side connector () mounted in a case () and a harness-side connector () fit on the equipment-side connector () through an opening in the case (). Fit-on detection mechanisms () for detecting connection of the equipment-side connector () and the harness-side connector () are provided therebetween. The fit-on detection mechanism () of the equipment-side connector () has two male tabs (). The fit-on detection mechanism () of the harness-side connector () has a shorting terminal () and two relay terminals (). The shorting terminal () has a coupling plate () and two pins () projecting from the coupling plate (). The relay terminals () have connection parts () at both ends for connecting to the pins () of the shorting terminal () and to the male tabs ().

Connector apparatus

A shield connector () has a housing () with a terminal mounting portion (), a receptacle () and a mounting flange (). Male terminals () are mounted in the terminal mounting portion () and have tabs that project into the receptacle (). A shield shell () including a shell main body () and resilient contact pieces () for grounding the shell main body () to a mounting member. The resilient contact pieces () have leading ends () accommodated in accommodating portions () formed in the mounting flange (), and the housing () includes protection walls () located lateral to the resilient contact pieces ().

Shield connector

A shield connector is provided with terminal fittings () having shield cables () connected thereto, a connector housing (), into which the terminal fittings () are to be mounted, a shield shell () to be accommodated into the connector housing (), and resilient pieces () each including a contact portion () which is provided on the shield shell () and comes into contact with a connection portion (B) of the shield cable (). Each resilient piece () includes projecting pieces () for preventing the resilient piece () from being excessively deformed by coming into contact with restricting portions () provided in the connector housing ().

A connector has a housing () including a terminal mounting portion (), a receptacle () and a mounting flange () between the terminal mounting portion () and the receptacle (). A seal ring () is mounted on a surface of the mounting flange () to be held in contact with a mounting wall () for sealing between the mounting flange () and the mounting wall (). The seal ring () includes a ring main body () surrounding the outer periphery of the terminal mounting portion () and fixing portions () for fixing the ring main body () to the mounting flange (). Each fixing portion () includes a bulge () at an inner peripheral side of the ring main body (). A lock () projects from the bulge () toward a side opposite to a sealing surface and engages a locking hole () in the housing ().
