[Problem] To provide a server monitoring device capable of grasping the state of a server more rapidly than conventional ones, and a server monitoring system. [Solution] This server monitoring device has a configuration in which a plurality of optical fibers are optically coupled to a plurality of light-emitting elements each showing the operating state of a server by a lighting mode, and the end surfaces of the plurality of optical fibers on the opposite side to the light-emitting elements are secured in a predetermined arrangement. An image of a light emission pattern of the end surfaces of the optical fibers is captured by a camera, and the image is transmitted to a monitoring person.

Server monitoring device and server monitoring system

A vehicle includes an ABS, which controls braking force on wheels, and a tire condition monitoring apparatus, which detects the internal air pressure of tires. The dynamic rolling radius of the tires is computed based on signals from rotation sensor units of the ABS. The weight of a load carried by the vehicle is computed based on the dynamic rolling radius of the tires and the internal air pressure of the tires detected by the tire condition monitoring apparatus. When computing the load weight, a load weight determination map, which previously sets the relationship among the internal air pressure of the tires, the dynamic rolling radius of the tires, and the weight of the load carried by the vehicle, is used.

Vehicle load weight detecting apparatus

A valve-integrated transponder includes an air valve and a casing that are integrated with each other, and is disposed within a tire. The air valve is press-fitted to a valve hole in a wheel rim. The casing houses a substrate having a detecting element mounted thereon, an inverse F antenna element, a supporting member, and the like, and is provided with a partition-like reinforcement rib. The reinforcement rib extends along an extension of an axis of the air valve and is loosely fitted in a recessed slot of the supporting member. The antenna element supported by the supporting member has a substantially line symmetrical shape where a pair of radiation conductors symmetrically extend away from each other.

Valve-integrated transponder

A valve-integrated transponder includes an air valve and a casing that are integrated with each other, and is disposed within a tire. The casing houses a substrate having a detecting element mounted thereon, an inverse F antenna element, and a supporting member. The antenna element has a substantially line symmetrical shape where a pair of radiation conductors extend away from each other. A longitudinal direction of the substrate is substantially perpendicular to an axial direction of the air valve, and a lateral direction of the substrate is inclined relative to a well of a wheel rim. The two radiation conductors of the antenna element disposed on the substrate are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the substrate, so as to be disposed substantially in parallel to the well that extends at the inner side of the transponder as viewed in the radial direction of the tire.

A tire pressure detecting device fixed to a wheel with a tire includes a pressure sensor detecting an internal pressure of the tire and transmits data of detection by the pressure sensor to a vehicle body by radio. The tire pressure detecting device further includes a compensation data storage storing compensation data for detection error specific to the pressure sensor and a compensation data transmitter obtaining the compensation data from the compensation data storage, transmitting the obtained compensation data to the vehicle body by radio.

Tire pressure detecting device and tire monitor system

A tire valve unit is secured to a securing hole provided in a rim of a wheel of a vehicle. The tire valve unit includes a tire valve and a tire sensor. The tire valve includes a valve stem and an elastic cylindrical member encompassing the valve stem. The elastic cylindrical member has an annular securing groove in an outer circumferential surface of the elastic cylindrical member. A portion of the rim around the securing groove is fitted in the securing groove when the elastic cylindrical member is passed through the securing hole. The tire sensor is fixed to the valve stem. The tire sensor is arranged in the interior of a tire attached to the rim and capable of detecting the condition of the tire when the tire valve unit is secured to the rim. The elastic cylindrical member defines an annular space around the valve stem. The annular space extends from a position corresponding to the securing groove in an axial direction of the valve stem to communicate with the interior of the tire.

Tire valve unit

A tire monitor radio circuit includes a control circuit delivering a binary digital baseband signal, a modulation circuit having an oscillation circuit generating a carrier wave and switched between an oscillatory and a non-oscillatory states, an antenna resonance circuit having a coil and a capacitor both connected together, a resistance damping circuit having a switching element and a resistance and connected to the antenna resonance circuit, the resistance damping circuit being switchable between an operative and an inoperative states, and a compensation circuit putting the resistance damping circuit into the operative state when the modulation circuit is switched to the non-oscillatory state, the compensation circuit returning the resistance damping circuit to the non-operative state when or before the modulation circuit has been or is switched to the oscillatory state. When he resistance damping circuit is on the operative state, resonance current of the damped oscillation in the antenna resonance circuit is applied to the resistance, and the resistance serves as a damper thereby to reduce statically determinate time of damped oscillation. As a result, the digital signal can accurately be detected from the carrier wave at the reception side. Consequently, reliability in the communication can be improved.

Tire monitor radio circuit and tire monitor system

A transmitter in an apparatus for monitoring a condition of a tire of a vehicle includes a circuit portion and a casing that accommodates the circuit portion. The casing has a first pressure transmitting portion that transmits the pressure in the tire to the circuit portion so that the circuit portion can detect the pressure in the tire. The pressure transmitted to the circuit portion through the first pressure transmitting portion produces force that presses the circuit portion. The casing further has a second pressure transmitting portion that transmits the pressure in the tire to the circuit portion to apply force that acts against the pressing force to the circuit portion. Therefore, the transmitter prevents a substrate from flexing.

A tire pressure detection side receiving circuit includes an antenna resonance circuit having an antenna, a capacitor and a coil, a capacitance changing circuit for changing a capacitance of the capacitor, an oscillation circuit capable of imparting a test wave to the antenna resonance circuit, a resonance level detector capable of detecting a resonance level of the antenna resonance circuit, a memory storing preset reference frequency, a resonance frequency detector changing a frequency of the test wave to be imparted to the antenna resonance circuit while the capacitor of the antenna resonance circuit is maintained at a constant capacitance, thereby detecting, as a measured resonance frequency, a frequency in a case where an amplitude level of the test wave has reached a peak, and a tuning control controlling the capacitance changing circuit and changing the capacitor capacitance so that the measured resonance frequency is approximated to a reference frequency.

Tire pressure detection side receiving circuit and tire monitor system provided therewith

An ring type optical LAN device includes a master node and a plurality of slave nodes that are interconnected by an optical fiber cable. A plurality of optical bypass transmission lines are provided in correspondence with each one of the slave nodes. Each of the optical bypass transmission lines bypasses the corresponding one of the slave nodes. Each slave node includes an E/O converter and an optical cutoff circuit. Each of the E/O converters is controlled to flash for generating an optical signal, which is transmitted to a network. When any one of the slave nodes fails such that the corresponding E/O converter is maintained in a turned on state, the associated optical cutoff circuit forcibly switches the E/O converter to a turned off state. This suppresses a network crash caused by the failure maintaining the E/O converter in the turned on state.

Optical LAN device

A transmitter for a tire condition monitoring apparatus includes a pressure sensor for detecting of the internal pressure of a tire, a transmission circuit for generating a transmission signal, and a transmission antenna for transmitting the transmission signal as a radio wave. The transmission antenna is a planar antenna and includes a plate-like transmission conductor for transmitting the radio wave. The transmission antenna is configured such that the radio wave transmitted from the transmission conductor becomes a circularly polarized wave. As a result, the transmitter has a superior transmission performance and a reduced size.

A tire condition monitoring apparatus includes a transmitter located in a tire of a vehicle. A trigger device includes a transmission antenna, a reception antenna, and an antenna unit. The transmission antenna wirelessly transmits a trigger signal. The transmitter wirelessly transmits data indicating the tire condition in response to the trigger signal. The reception antenna receives the data wirelessly transmitted from the transmitter. The antenna unit incorporates the transmission antenna and the reception antenna. A transmitter in an apparatus for monitoring a condition of a tire attached to a wheel of a vehicle is fixed to the wheel such that the transmitter faces an outer circumferential surface of a wheel rim. The transmitter includes a circuit portion that detects the condition of the tire. The transmitter includes a casing that accommodates the circuit portion, and a leg that extends from the casing toward the outer circumferential surface of the wheel rim. The extended amount of the leg is adjustable such that the leg contacts the outer circumferential surface of the wheel rim when the transmitter is fixed to the wheel. Therefore, the transmitter is mounted to the wheel such that legs of the casing abut against the wheel rim regardless of the size of the wheel.

A transponder for a tire condition monitoring apparatus is provided. The transponder detects a condition of a tire and wirelessly transmits data representing the detected condition in response to radio waves having a field intensity equal to or greater than a predetermined level. The transponder is provided in a tire valve.

Transponder for tire condition monitoring apparatus

A transmitter is located in a tire of a vehicle and transmits data indicating a tire condition using a carrier wave. The transmitter has an oscillator circuit and a transmission controller. The oscillator circuit generates the carrier wave. The transmission controller compensates a deviation of the amplitude of the carrier wave generated by the oscillator circuit relative to a predetermined reference value such that the amplitude of the carrier becomes equal to the reference value. This is capable of maintaining a constant amplitude of a carrier wave.
