In estimation of a future state of a first product (an estimation-target individual), a first estimated extrapolation value is calculated from data on a past side of data relevant to the first product, and a second estimated extrapolation value is calculated from data relevant to a second product (a same-type different-individual of the estimation-target individual) that is different from the first product. A synthesis ratio between the first estimated extrapolation value and the second estimated extrapolation value is decided from data on a present side of the data relevant to the first product, and an estimation value is calculated by performing synthesis between the first estimated extrapolation value and the second estimated extrapolation value based on the decided synthesis ratio.

A processing method for a fuel cell system including a fuel cell stack configured to generate electric power when supplied with an anode gas and a cathode gas is started in a state in which the fuel cell stack is not supplied with the anode gas and the cathode gas and generation of electric power in the fuel cell stack is stopped. The processing method includes: a first process of starting supply of the cathode gas; a second process of starting supply of an inert gas to an anode when a voltage of the fuel cell stack increases and then becomes equal to or less than a predetermined first voltage; and a third process of stopping the supply of the inert gas when the voltage of the fuel cell stack increases and then becomes equal to or less than a predetermined second voltage after the second process.

Processing method for fuel cell system, component detaching method, and fuel cell system

A MEA is set in a state where a hydrogen gas is continuously supplied to both an anode-side electrode and a cathode-side electrode. In this state, a current is applied from an external power supply unit to the anode-side electrode and the cathode-side electrode so that the cathode-side electrode has a higher potential and that the current value gradually increases. Upon applying the current in this way, measured voltages between both electrodes measured by a voltage measurement unit are plotted in time series, thereby measuring the voltage transition across the inspection object MEA. A power generation performance inspection of the inspection object MEA is carried out based on the measured voltage transition.

Inspection method of fuel cell

A power supply system includes a fuel cell system having a fuel cell that is mounted on a vehicle, and a controller for controlling the fuel cell system. The controller performs control to operate the fuel cell by switching as appropriate between a driving mode in which the vehicle travels, and an external power supply mode for supplying electric power to an external load. In the driving mode, a first voltage is set as a high-potential avoiding voltage, and in the external power supply mode, a second voltage that is higher than the first voltage is set as the high-potential avoiding voltage.

The degree of processing for suppressing protrusion of carbon fibers in the anode-side gas diffusion layer () and the degree of processing for suppressing protrusion of carbon fibers in the cathode-side gas diffusion layer () are set to be different from each other. Specifically, protrusion from the anode-side gas diffusion layer () is sufficiently suppressed, thereby being prevented from damaging the membrane electrode assembly (). Meanwhile, the degree of suppression processing of the cathode-side gas diffusion layer () is set low, thereby securing drainage of generated water.
