An ink set comprising a black ink and a color ink, wherein the black ink comprises an aqueous dispersion of water-insoluble vinyl polymer particles containing an oil-soluble black dye or carbon black, the vinyl polymer particles have an ionicity opposite to that of the color ink, and the vinyl polymer comprises a water-insoluble vinyl polymer prepared by copolymerizing (a) a salt forming group-containing monomer, (b) a monomer represented by the formula (I):CH&#x2550;C(R)COO(RO)R&#x2003;&#x2003;(I)wherein Ris hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, Ris a divalent hydrocarbon group which may have a hetero-atom, Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group which may have a hetero-atom, and p is a number of 1 to 60, (c) a macromer, and (d) a monomer copolymerizable with these monomers. The ink set can be used as an ink set for inkjet recording, which is excellent in not only fixing abilities and water resistance, but also bleeding resistance and jettability, and can form very clear printouts.

A water-based ink for inkjet printing comprising a water dispersion of vinyl polymer particles prepared by containing a pigment in a vinyl polymer prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising (a) a salt-forming group-containing monomer, (b) a macromer, and (c) a monomer copolymerizable with the salt-forming group-containing monomer and the macromer; and a process for preparing a water-based ink for inkjet printing comprising a water dispersion of vinyl polymer particles prepared by containing a pigment in a vinyl polymer, comprising dissolving in an organic solvent a vinyl polymer prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising (a) a salt-forming group-containing monomer, (b) a macromer, and (c) a monomer copolymerizable with the salt-forming group-containing monomer and the macromer; adding a pigment to the resulting solution; pre-kneading the mixture; thereafter adding a neutralizing agent and water and kneading the mixture, to give an oil-in-water dispersion; and distilling off the organic solvent from the resulting kneaded product.

Water-based ink for ink-jet recording

The present invention provides a hair cosmetic composition containing an antibody (a) to hair or a hair extract obtained from egg yolk of poultry immunized with the hair or hair extract, and a polymer emulsion (b). The hair cosmetic composition of the invention can provide excellent properties including softness, moistened feel, and smoothness. In addition, since it is adsorbed only onto a specified part of the hair, stickiness or greasiness of the hair can be prevented. The composition also prevents occurrence of split hairs, and even repair the split hairs. These effects are not lost by repeated ordinary shampooings.

Aqueous ink for ink-jet printing

A process for producing an aqueous ink for inkjet printing capable of giving an elevated print density of printed matters, being improved in fixability to the material to be printed, water resistance and improved storage stability and scarcely scorching onto a printer head. This process comprises dissolving a salt-forming group-having polymer and a hydrophobic dye in a water-insoluble organic solvent to obtain a solution, adding water and a neutralizing agent optionally together with a surfactant to the solution to ionize the salt-forming group of the polymer, emulsifying the resulting mixture, and removing out the solvent from the emulsion to obtain an ink containing an aqueous dispersion of the polymer particles in which the dye has been encompassed.

Process for producing aqueous ink for inkjet printing

An aqueous inkjet printing ink with excellent water resistance, wherein scorching onto a printer head scarcely occurs, the amount of a hydrophobic dye contained in an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl polymer can be increased, and sharp printed letters having deep color can be provided. The aqueous ink product for inkjet printing comprises a dispersion of a vinyl polymer obtained by copolymerizing one or more selected from a silicone macromer, an acrylamide monomer and a methacrylamide monomer (not having a salt-forming group), or a styrene macromer of a styrene homopolymer or a styrene copolymer having a polymerizable functional group at one terminal end, a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having the salt-forming group, and a monomer capable of polymerizing with these monomers in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator, a hydrophobic dye being contained in the dispersion.

Aqueous ink for inkjet printing

A patch is disclosed, which comprises a water-soluble adhesive sheet (a), and a patch is disclosed, which comprises a water-soluble adhesive sheet (a) and a water-soluble protective material (b) laminated thereon. This patch is convenient in handling and achieves high merit. Also, it can be applied to the skin so as to exhibit excellent warm-bathing effects on the application site.

A cosmetic composition comprising an aqueous polymer emulsion in an amount of from 1 to 60% by weight in terms of the weight of solid contents of the cosmetic composition. The aqueous polymer emulsion is produced by polymerizing at least one polymerizable monomer having a double bond in the presence of a plasticizer or a film-forming auxiliary. This aqueous polymer emulsion ensures in the cosmetic composition excellent gloss, film stability, water repellency, and film-forming properties, and also ensures freedom from cosmetic crumbling due to sweat and sebum.
