A representative fastening tool which fastens a work piece by utilizing a fastener that includes a pin in which a shaft portion and a head portion are integrally formed and a hollow shaped collar which is engageable to the pin, wherein the work piece is disposed between the head portion and the collar. The fastening tool includes a pin holding portion which can hold an end part region of the shaft portion, wherein the fastener is fastened in a state that the collar and the head portion clamp the work piece and the end part region is integral with the shaft portion, wherein the controller has the pin holding portion move in the first direction to conduct the fastening of the fastener by a motor drive control mode defined as a drive control of the motor based on motor drive current and motor drive electric power.

Fastening tool

An electric work machine () includes a motor (), a manipulatable part (), a control part () configured to perform a first braking control and a second braking control that differ from each other, and a kickback-detection part (, S) that detects whether kickback has occurred. The control part energizes the motor in response to detection of user-manipulation of the manipulatable part. In response to detection of kickback, the control part performs the first braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a first braking force. In response to detection of a state change of the manipulatable part to an unmanipulated or OFF state, the control part performs the second braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a second braking force, which is weaker than the first braking force.

A fastening tool includes a housing, a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part held within the fastener-abutment part to be movable in a front-rear direction relative to the fastener-abutment part, a detection-target part provided to move together with the pin-gripping part, a detection device configured to detect the detection-target part, a motor, and a driving mechanism configured to move the pin-gripping part rearward from an initial position relative to the fastener-abutment part. The driving mechanism is further configured to move the pin-gripping part forward relative to the fastener-abutment part so as to return the pin-gripping part to the initial position based on a detection result of the detection device. The fastening tool is configured such that a first moving distance is adjustable, the first moving distance being a distance by which the pin-gripping part is moved from a detection position to the initial position.

A fastening tool includes a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part, a motor, a driving mechanism, an input-accepting part and a motor-control part. The fastener-abutment part is configured to abut on a cylindrical part of a fastener. The pin-gripping part is configured to grip a portion of a pin of the fastener. The driving mechanism is configured to be driven by power of the motor to move the pin-gripping part rearward along a driving axis relative to the fastener-abutment part, thereby fastening a workpiece via the fastener. The input-accepting part is configured to accept setting information for a control condition of the motor inputted via an operation part configured to be externally operated by a user. The motor-control part is configured to control operation of the driving mechanism by controlling driving of the motor according to the control condition based on the setting information accepted by the input-accepting part.

A fastening tool includes a bolt-gripping part, an anvil, a motor, and a control part. When the bolt-gripping part grips an end region of a shaft part and moves relative to the anvil in a first direction of a longitudinal-axis direction, the anvil presses a collar fitted onto the shaft part in a second direction opposite to the first direction of the longitudinal-axis direction and inward in a radial direction of the collar, so that a hollow part of the collar is crimped to a groove while the workpiece is clamped between the collar and a head part, whereby swaging of a fastener is completed while the end region remains integrated with the shaft part. The control part completes swaging of the fastener by terminating a movement of the bolt-gripping part in the first direction relative to the anvil based on driving current of the motor.

A fastening tool using a fastener of a type which is configured such that swaging is completed while an end region of a shaft part of a bolt remains integrated with the shaft part, and more particularly, a technique that may help provide a compact device structure while facilitating output management required for swaging, in the fastening tool. The fastening tool is configured to fasten a workpiece with a bolt and a collar without breaking a shaft part of the bolt, and a control part performs swaging operation while controlling the driving current of a motor to become a specified target current value and completes the swaging operation based on rotation speed of the motor.

A working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises an operation rod, a leading end unit, a rear end unit, and a drive permitter. The operation rod is configured to be transformable between an extended state and a non-extended state. The leading end unit is provided at one end of the operation rod. The leading end unit comprises a motor configured to drive a working element. The rear end unit is provided at the other end of the operation rod. The rear end unit comprises a controller configured to control driving of the motor. The drive permitter is configured to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the extended state and not to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the non-extended state.

Foldable working machine with safety switch to enable operation

An electric working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a motor, a speed setting unit, a load detection unit, a determination unit, and a parameter setting unit. The determination unit calculates an estimated value of a heat generation amount of the motor, and determines that the motor is in an overload operation state when the estimated value reaches a predetermined threshold. The parameter setting unit sets a parameter to be used for calculating the estimated value and/or the threshold in accordance with a rotation speed set by the speed setting unit.

An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a motor, a first switching element, a second switching element, a rectifier element, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform a stop control, in which completion of a first current path is maintained via the first switching element for a specified period and a second current path is interrupted via the second switching element, in response to satisfaction of a stop condition for stopping power supply from a power source to the motor during rotation of the motor.
