A radio control device for one or more target objects to be controlled includes an manipulation unit, configured to control the target objects; a storage unit which stores model data corresponding to the target objects, the model data being used to control the target objects; a controller which uses the model data stored in the storage unit to control the target objects through manipulation of the manipulation unit; and a camera module which acquires specific data for specifying the target objects. The controller stores the specific data of the target objects acquired by the camera module and the model data of the target objects related to the specific data in the storage unit in association therebetween such that the specific data and the model data are callable from the storage unit.

A driving controller of remote control equipment includes a yaw axis angular velocity detecting unit for outputting a yaw axis angular velocity as a yaw axis angular velocity signal; a main rotor RPM detecting unit for outputting a main rotor RPM as a main rotor RPM signal; and a phase control unit for detecting a phase deviation in a roll axis and a pitch axis based on the yaw axis angular velocity signal and the main rotor RPM signal, and generating a roll and a pitch control signal by correcting a roll and a pitch operation signal by the phase deviation. In accordance with the transmitter, an added control range being a sum of two or more of the control ranges is calculated, whether the added control range exceeds a maximum control range set to correspond to the operating section of the object to be controlled is determined, and the control range is corrected when the added control range exceeds the maximum control range.

Radio control transmitter for models

In conventional radio controlled models, a receive frequency is changed with a changeover switch mounted in a receiver body. In the present invention, a frequency switching scheme, employing a radio system in which a transmitter switches the receive frequency, is provided. Using weak radio waves usable without authorization, the transmitter transmits frequency data set therein as a frequency switching signal to a receiver. In the receiver, the receive frequency is set to a predetermined weak radio wave frequency when the power source is turned on. Upon receiving the weak radio waves, the receiver reads the frequency data out of the set signal and stores it into the memory means. Thus, the frequency setting has been completed. When the receiver does not receive the frequency switching signal for a fixed period of time, it reads out the frequency data used previously from the data memory to start the receiving operation.

A multivalued FSK modulation system is provided in which when data to be transmitted is multivalued and transmitted/received, the detection level is different every symbol. When a two-valued signal is transmitted as one symbol, data (11), (01), (00) and (10) are previously set to be, for example, a shift of &#x2212;6, a shift of +6, a shift of +2, and a shift of &#x2212;2, respectively. When data to be input next is (00), mapping is performed so as to provide a sign weight of +2 from the sign weight at the position of current data. When the data to be input next is (10), mapping is performed so as to provide a sign weight of &#x2212;2 from the position of the current sign weight. Thus, even if data of the same level is input, signals can be always detected in different levels, so that the sign detection point is not specified erroneously.

A steering control device synchronizes the driving operations of swash plate control servomechanisms. In roll control, the control amount adjustment circuit separates and converts the roll control signal into a roll servo drive control amount and a collective pitch servo drive control amount. The offset correction circuit offset-corrects the converted control amounts and outputs a servo control signal converted into the roll servo control amount and a servo control signal converted into the collective pitch servo control amount. The adder receives the roll servo control signal and the collective pitch servo control signal and adds them with a pitch control signal and a collective pitch control signal. Thereafter, the synchronous circuit synchronizes the added signals. The roll servo control output, the pitch servo output, and the collective pitch output are respectively output to the servo mechanisms with the same timing.

A mobile body controlling gear is provided that can suppress an occurrence of yaw motion due to an offset when the P control is switched to the PID control. The yaw-axis control signal Ep is added to the control signal from the P/PID controller. The added signal is input to the actuator. The yaw-axis driving unit performs yaw-axis control. The yaw-axis angular velocity detection sensor signal Sa is compared with the reference signal r. Then the P/PID controller receives the comparison signal. The reference value memory holds the yaw-axis control signal Ep immediately before the P/PID switching unit switches the P control mode to the PID control mode. The yaw-axis control signal Ep is handled as the reference signal rb for the PID control. The reference value rb is added to the angular velocity zero detection reference value rz and to the yaw-axis control signal Ep. The resultant sum is input to the PID terminal of the P/PID switching unit. The error between the resultant sum and the yaw-axis angular velocity sensor output Sa is output as an error to the P/PID controller.

An engine for radio controlled models includes an internal combustion engine and a radio control receiver having a control unit for generating a fuel injection signal to control the supply of fuel to the internal combustion engine and a throttle adjusting signal to control an opening of a throttle value. The control unit provides a fuel injection signal based on fuel injection timing which is derived from a stroke signal and control unit provides a fuel injection timing signal to cause the fuel injector of the internal combustion engine to inject fuel into the combustion chamber of the engine.
