A disc brake device is configured to include friction pads facing the friction surface of a disc rotor, a caliper and a piston capable of pushing the friction pads against the friction surface of the disc rotor, and a mounting for supporting the caliper in a freely movable manner to a vehicle body side through a slide mechanism including a slide pin and a sleeve. A positioning mechanism capable of changing a relative position of the slide pin and the sleeve is arranged to appropriately change the position of the caliper according to the wear of the pad and ensure stable retract function.

Disc brake device

In a disc brake device, a piston is movably supported to a cylinder portion of a caliper, friction pads are operable to push a disc rotor as the piston moving frontward during pressurization, a seal mechanism arranged at the cylinder portion is operable to return the piston to an initial position during depressurization, and the seal mechanism is constituted with a movable element arranged between the cylinder portion and the piston () as being movable frontward in the same direction of the piston, a first seal member elastically arranged between the piston and the movable element to make the movable element accompany the piston, a low elasticity member being compressively deformable with initial pressurization of the piston via the movable element, and a high elasticity member being compressively deformable with pressurization of the piston via the movable element.

A label printer includes a thermal head, a keyboard unit for inputting label data including issuing number data determining the number of labels to be issued, a RAM for storing label data input by the keyboard unit, and a printing control circuit. The RAM at least first and second label data, and the printing control circuit performs a first label issuing operation in which the thermal head is driven to continuously print a label or labels according to the first label data read out from the RAM, interrupts the operation of the thermal head in response to an interrupt command input from the keyboard unit during the first label issuing operation and then changes the label issuing number data of the first label data stored in the RAM to indicate the number of remaining labels to be issued. The printing control circuit then performs a second label issuing operation in which the thermal head is driven to continuously print a label or labels according to the second label data, and then performs the first label issuing operation again after the second label issuing operation is completed.

Label printer with interrupt function

A thermal printer has a memory for storing printing patterns; a printer unit on which a thermal printing head having one line of dot print elements is replaceably mounted, the printer unit driving the printing head to print a printing pattern stored in the memory in a unit of one line; and a paper feed unit for feeding paper in a direction perpendicular to a direction of a print element line of the printing head. A first timer is provided for setting a print cycle for the printing head; and a second timer is provided for setting a feed cycle for feeding paper to the printing head at a selected speed. A controller concurrently drives the printer unit in the print cycle and the paper feed unit in the feed cycle, the controller driving the printer unit to cause the printing head to print in a print cycle while the paper feed unit is driven to continuously feed paper to the printer unit at the selected speed determined by the feed cycle set by the second timer. The controller adjusts at least one of the first and second timers to thereby adjust at least one of the print cycle and feed cycle, in such a manner that the length of the paper feed per printing line is equal to a print element pitch of the printing head.

A label printer comprises an input section for inputting printing data, a frame memory for storing image data derived from the printing data, a printing section for printing an image corresponding to the image data on label paper, and a control circuit for creating the image data based on the printing data, storing the image data into the frame memory, and transferring the image data stored in the frame memory to the printing section. In the label printer, the frame memory stores items of image data derived from different printing data input by the input section, and the control circuit checks whether or not image data corresponding to the input printing data is stored in the frame memory, and transfer the image data stored in the frame memory to the printing section when it is detected that the image data is stored in the frame memory.

Label printer

A printer apparatus is provided with a frame memory for storing a printing pattern, a printing head driven in accordance with the printing pattern stored in the frame memory, and a processor for producing a plurality of graphic patterns in the frame memory in accordance with a plurality of items of printing data which are externally supplied, to thereby form a printing pattern. The processor of the printer apparatus includes a buffer memory and a CPU. The buffer memory stores image distribution data indicating a frame memory area which is occupied by the image portion of the graphic pattern corresponding to printing data to be changed and from which the marginal portions of the graphic pattern is excluded. When printing data which should be used in place of the printing data to be changed is supplied, the CPU reads the image distribution data relating to the printing data to be changed out of the distribution data memory, and clears the frame memory area specified by the image distribution data.

An internal combustion engine including a calculating device for calculating an amount of fuel to be injected on the basis of a pressure in an intake passage downstream of a throttle valve, a first correction device for calculating a transient correction value on the basis of a changing rate of the pressure and for correcting the amount of fuel on the basis of the transient correction value, a determining device for determining whether or not the recirculation of exhaust gas in an exhaust passage into the intake passage is started, or whether or not the recirculation is stopped, and a second correction device for reducing an absolute value of the transient correction value in accordance with an amount of recirculated exhaust gas when the determining device determines that the recirculation is started or stopped.

Internal combustion engine

An apparatus for controlling an air-fuel ratio for an internal combustion engine in which the air-fuel ratio is controlled to the leaner side of a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio in a normal operating condition. As the speed reduction ratio decreases, the air-fuel ratio is controlled so as to become increasingly leaner than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. Thus, when the speed reduction ratio is relatively large, the air-fuel ratio is controlled so as to be richer than a critical air-fuel ratio concerning misfire, thereby preventing occurrence of a surge in the engine output which would otherwise be caused by a change in combustion state. When the speed reduction ratio is relatively small, the air-fuel ratio is made to approach said critical air-fuel ratio in order to decrease the rate of fuel consumption.

Apparatus for controlling air-fuel ratio for internal combustion engine

A label printer includes a printing head having a plurality of heating elements arranged in a direction perpendicular to the feed direction of a label, and a data generator for supplying a plurality of article data, including a bar code and a price, to the printing head in the ordinary printing mode. In the test mode, the data generator supplies to the printing head test pattern data indicative of a plurality of test patterns which are printed in substantially the same positions as the printing positions of those plurality of article data, each of the test patterns having an area of substantially the same size as the largest one of the areas occupied by the article data to be printed in the same printing position.

A thermal-printing device prints by selectively supplying a current to a plurality of heat generating elements in accordance with printing data. In a check mode, the thermal-printing device sequentially supplies a check current to the heat generating elements through a light-emitting diode and a current-limiting resistor.

A secondary air supply control system including: an air cleaner; an air pump connected to the air cleaner; a valve having a first chamber and a second chamber, which are separated by a diaphragm and communicated with each other through a first orifice, and controlling the supply of secondary air from the air pump to an exhaust manifold, in response to deflection of the diaphragm; and a passage connecting the second chamber to an intake manifold in a position downstream of a throttle valve in a carburetor and having a second orifice. In addition, a check valve which allows the flow of the secondary air only in the direction towards the exhaust manifold is provided in a passage interconnecting the valve and the exhaust manifold. In this system, an open cross-sectional area of the first orifice is smaller than that of the second orifice provided in the aforesaid passage.
