A facsimile apparatus is constructed with a minimum number of parts in a size as compact as possible, capable of reading, recording, and receiving data automatically. The facsimile apparatus which has an original sheet conveying path for conveying an original and a recording sheet conveying path for conveying a recording sheet, comprising: a common sheet conveying path for conveying either the original or the recording sheet, and which is provided downstream of the original sheet conveying path and the recording sheet conveying path; feeder selection means, provided upstream of the common conveying path, for picking-up either the original or the recording sheet by selection; reading means, provided on the common conveying path, for reading the original led to the common conveying path by the feeder selection means; recording means, provided on the common conveying path, for recording on the recording sheet conveyed led to the common conveying path by the feeder selection means; and ejecting means for ejecting the original and the recording sheet.

Facsimile apparatus with common sheet conveying path

During the forward driving of a recording motor, a platen roller is forwardly rotated and a de-curl shaft is rotated so as to bear against a recording sheet and at this time, a cutter is not driven. During the reverse driving of the recording motor 31, the cutter 17 is first driven to cut the recording sheet 14, whereafter the platen roller 15 is reversely driven and the de-curl shaft 27a becomes spaced apart from the recording sheet 14.

Recording apparatus

The present invention relates to an image formation apparatus comprising a first housing and a second housing which can be freely opened and closed, and in the first housing a locking nail is provided while a locking member is provided in the second housing, to which the locking nail can be hooked or released therefrom. Then, detection means is provided for the locking member in the second housing for detecting whether the locking nail is hooked or its hooking is released.

Image formation apparatus

An original feeding apparatus is structured with a first housing and second housing to enable the second housing to be opened and closed, and is provided with a feeding member for carrying an original respectively in the first housing and second housing. A sheet receiving device has conveying means for conveying a sheet, restraining means disposed downstream of the conveying means with respect to the direction of conveyance by a distance shorter than the length of th esheet in th edirection of conveyance for restraining the leading end edge of the sheet being conveyed, first guide means for guiding the sheet to the restraining means, second guide means cooperating with the first guide means to hold the sheet therebetween, and support means for movably supporting at least one of the first guide means and the second guide means so that the distance between the first guide means and the second guide means can increase with the sheet held therebetween, in conformity with an increase in the sheet held between the first guide means and the second guide means.

Sheet receiving device

An image processing apparatus in which the respective functional sections in the apparatus are clearly separated and constituted as units, thereby raising the productivity, and at the same time the maintenance for the reading optical system and for the jam processing of the sheets and the like can be easily performed. The enclosing space for the recording sheets discharged is built inside the casing, and the original base is also used as the cover for the recording system unit, thereby realizing a small and thin sized apparatus. Further, the heat generated from the power source unit and recording head can be easily radiated.

Image processing apparatus

This specification discloses a sheet material receiving device provided near the lower part of the sheet material discharging portion of an image forming apparatus such as a facsimile apparatus or a copying apparatus to receive sheet materials discharged from the image forming apparatus. The sheet material receiving device is provided with a first guide member against which the leading end of each discharged sheet bears and by which the sheet is directed downwardly, and a second guide member opposed to the first guide member and forming a sheet receiving space, and has a gripping portion for holding down the sheet material received in the sheet receiving space, or the first guide member is openable.

Sheet material receiving device

An apparatus for detecting the length of web wound on a bobbin. The apparatus detects the amount of rotation of the bobbin and the amount of feed of the web and detects the amount of roll by an operation on the basis of the detected amounts. The amount of rotation of the bobbin is detected by the pulses generated in response to the rotation of the bobbin and counted by a first counter. The amount of feed of the web is detected by the pulses generated in response to the feeding of the web and counted by a second counter. The amount of roll is calculated by an operation device on the basis of the count values of the first and second counters.

Web roll amount detecting apparatus

A photographic apparatus for photographing originals in succession onto a photographic film of a continuous web form and then processing the thus exposed film. The apparatus is provided with a storage chamber located between the photographing station and the processing station for temporarily storing the film advanced from the photographing station, a feeder for feeding the film from the storage chamber to the processing station and a switch for actuating the feeder to feed the film from the storage chamber to the processing station. There are further provided a photographing controller adapted to prohibit the operation of the photographing device when a determined amount of the film is stored in the storage chamber and enable the photographing operation in response to the actuation of said switch, and a cutter for cutting the exposed film.

Photographic apparatus

This specification discloses an apparatus for photographing originals successively on a long footage of film. Originals of various sizes such as checks, stock-certificates, vouchers, etc. are photographed on the film. When originals of various sizes are photographed on unphotographed film, how may originals can be photographed on the unphotographed film is displayed. The number of originals photographable on the unphotographed film can be known for each size of original and can also be known as the number of originals having an average size which have hitherto been photographed or as the number of originals having a minimum or a maximum size. Also, in a photographing apparatus wherein photographed film is temporally stored in a storage portion and then fed to a developing portion, how many originals can be photographed on the film that is to be stored in the storage portion is displayed.

Photographing apparatus

This invention provides a photographic apparatus for successively photographing originals on a photographic film in a continuous web form and subsequently developing the thus exposed film. Said apparatus comprises a camera unit and a processor unit, wherein said camera unit comprising a film chamber for storing the photographic film exposed at an exposing position into a loop form, a feed path for feeding said film in said film chamber into said processor and means for advancing said film into said film chamber. The photographic apparatus of this invention is selectively usable either as a camera for photographing only or as a camera-processor for continuous photographing and development.
