A column base structure formed by integrally joining a column base metal fitting having a raised portion and a base plate to a steel-frame column, and joining the column base metal fitting joined to the steel-frame column to a concrete foundation via anchor bolts embedded in the concrete foundation, in which an anchor-bolt retainer having an upper anchor plate and a lower anchor plate is fixedly fitted to support members installed on a concrete subslab, anchor bolts are hold in position via the anchor-bolt retainer, and the anchor bolts are embedded, together with the anchor-bolt retainer, into the concrete foundation.

Column base structure and connection arrangement

A connector/beam joining method for joining a beam and a connector having a base plate and a projection, both formed into a T-shape in cross-section, in which the edge of a welding groove provided on the end of the projection of the connector is matched with the edge of the inside surface of a flange constituting the beam for positioning, and a backing strip formed into a prescribed length is fixedly fitted by welding so as to come in close contact with the end surface of the projection and the inside surface of the flange.

Connector beam joining method

A column base structure having connected a pair of column-base metal fittings to the lower part of a column consisting of a pair of main column members disposed at predetermined intervals and connecting members disposed in such a manner as to integrally connect the main column members; the column base metal fittings being fixedly fitted to a concrete foundation via anchor bolts and nuts; characterized in that a horizontal member having a predetermined cross-sectional area is integrally and fixedly fitted between the main column members in the vicinity of the column base metal fitting.

Column base structure

A column/beam joint structure, made of steel members, in which a reinforcing member formed into a flat plate or into a strip shape so as to surround the outer periphery of the flange is interposed between a flange having a vertical plane constituting the column and a base plate constituting a connector fixedly fitted to an end of a beam. The flange, the reinforcing member and the connector are integrally joined together via a connecting fastener member.
