A shield for a helmet includes a shield having a sun visor rotatably and axially supported at a position different from a rotation center of the shield. The sun visor rotates within a range from a first position where the sun visor, like a bill of a hat, lies above a front opening part and projects forward to a second position where the sun visor lies outside facing the shield in an overlapping manner, and the sun visor is retained in the first position. The sun visor is operated and moved forward and away from the shield to rotate from the first position to the second position.

Shield for a helmet

A helmet for use by a driver of a vehicle or vessel includes a chin guard extending from side to side over the front open part of a helmet shell molded to an open-face shape, and supported about an axis passing through the right to left side of the helmet shell so as to swivel up and down, the chin guard including a surface layer member formed from a flexible material so as to be deformable by deflection into a shape conforming to different widths of different helmet shells, and a core member formed from a rigid material and mounted inside of the surface layer member to inhibit the surface layer member from deflection.

Helmet

A ventilation duct comprises a left duct part and a right duct part which are arranged respectively on the left and right of a shell, and a central duct part which is arranged between the left and right duct parts. The left and right duct parts are held by limiting the movement thereof in the front/rear direction and the left/right direction of the shell, and in a direction away from the shell, by engaging support members, which are set at the arrangement positions of the left and right duct parts on an outer surface of the shell, and by the central duct part.

A cheek pad for mounting on an inside of a helmet shell includes an attaching member and a cushion member, the attaching member including a base member mounted in contact with the shell and a form-maintaining member disposed at an inner lower section of the base member in a space provided with respect to the cushion member for simultaneously keeping a surface of the cushion member in a profile corresponding to the cheek and chin of a wearer when the helmet is worn by a wearer and, following displacement that causes the space to contract, is restored so as to return to an original location under normal circumstances, and kept there. Elastic members are positioned in the space between the base member and the form-maintaining member to help restore the space to an original configuration subsequent to contraction.

Cheek pad for helmet and helmet

A lens machining apparatus is provided that can execute everything required in machining eyeglass lenses, from measurement to various kinds of machining, and still ensures high-precision machining. The apparatus includes a lens holding unit 12 which holds a lens 1 and causes the same to turn, a cutter 131 which cuts (edges) the circumferential surface of the lens in a prescribed cross-sectional shape, an end mill 141 which machines a groove in the circumferential surface of the lens whose circumferential surface has been cut (edged) and chamfers edges at the lens circumferential surface, and a lens measurement unit 15 which measures the shape and the position of the lens held by the lens holding unit.

Lens machining apparatus and method

A mounting part for mounting spectacle frame components such as lugs can be machined after confirming that a lens thickness at a mounting part-machined portion where the mounting part is machined is equal to or larger than the specified value, and can be installed the spectacle lens components on the spectacle lens with a requested strength. The device, the method for the above, a spectacle lens manufacturing method, and a spectacles manufacturing method are given. The spectacle lens () is fed to a lens thickness measuring device () by a lens feeder. The fed amount of the spectacle lens in this feeding is based on the measured results of a distance between a frame center forming a block center by a lens holder in an edging for manufacturing the spectacle lens () from a raw material lens and the edge face of the spectacle lens () where the mounting part is to be machined. The thickness of the lens at the mounting part-machined portion can be accurately measured by the measuring device () even if an error produced in the edging is included in the distance.

A locking mechanism for a helmet with a rotatable face shield includes an operating element that, when the shield is in a fully closed position, holds the shield from the outside against the outer wall of the helmet main body, and to open the shield, spreads out the shield and disengages a projection from a fitting portion.

A neck pad is pulled out with a smaller force in an easy manner while assuring a positive characteristic of attached state of the neck pad. An inserting plate that can be moved in a clearance S along a peripheral direction of a putting-on or taking-off opening is provided with a fitting part and in turn the fitting part is provided with an engaging part that is resiliently fitted in opposition to a pulling-out direction of the inserting plate through insertion of the inserting plate into the clearance S, the fitting part moves to a non-opposite position against the engaging part as the inserting plate moves in a peripheral direction to cause the fitted state of the engaging part to be released, thereby the inserting plate can be pulled out.

Neck pad attachment structure (helmet)

An open face helmet includes an outer shell and a shock-absorbing liner, as well as a fixing member on the front side of the inner surface of the right side of the outer shell for the attachment of a removable cheek pad. The cheek pad includes a shock-absorbing member and a cushioning member stacked thereon, as well as an engaging body to be removably engaged with the fixing member. The fixing member is opposed to the front edge of the shock-absorbing liner, having a slit to be engaged with or disengaged from the engaging body in a front-back direction. The cheek pad is supported on the inner surface of the right side of the helmet shell by an engagement of the engaging body with the slit and a face-to-face contact of the back edge of the cheek pad with the front edge of the shock-absorbing liner.

Open face helmet

A manufacturing method of a spectacle lens improving a manufacturing yield and a production efficiency is provided. The manufacturing method of the spectacle lens in which necessary information for a frame machining of a spectacle lens (progressive-power lens) including spectacle rim related information is obtained, and both surfaces of a convex surface and a concave surface are edge/polish machined from a spectacle lens blanks. When the convex surface or the concave surface is polish machined, and thereafter, the next surface is machined, the spectacle rim related information and layout information of the edge machining are obtained, and first provisional reference position markstoand second provisional reference position markstoguiding a geometrical horizontal reference and a geometrical perpendicular reference of the lens are inscribed at positions outside of an edge shapeas identification marks for the machined surface being polished as a provisional reference marking process, an optical layout is performed for the surface to be machined next based on these provisional reference position marks to perform a lens block to a lens machining tool.

Spectacle lens manufacturing method

A wind rectifying member positioned between two ventilation covers on the top of a helmet is adjustably supported by fitting members of support structures mounted within each ventilation cover. The fitting members adjust the forward and rearward positioning of the rectifying member and its angle of tilt relative to the wind direction. The fitting members extend through openings in facing side walls of the ventilation covers and into indentations in the ends of the rectifying member.

This apparatus includes a unit for adhering an elastic seal to a lens holder, a unit for causing the lens holder, to which the elastic seal is adhered, to hold a lens, a pivotal arm, an arm driving unit for pivoting the pivotal arm, a clamp unit attached to the pivotal arm to be vertically movable to hold the lens holder, and a clamp driving unit for vertically moving the clamp unit. The pivotal arm is pivoted to sequentially adhere the elastic seal to the lens holder and hold the lens by the lens holder.

Lens layout block device

This invention is to obtain a targeted traveling-window channeling-off function irrelevant to respective intrinsic driving postures of a helmet wearer, a speed of vehicles and the like. Helmets A, B, C include straightening members which relate to the holding of the stability of the helmets during traveling. The straightening members are provided in a state that a position of the straightening members is adjustable in a fore-and-aft direction or an angle of straightening surfaces which face a traveling window in an opposed manner is adjustable corresponding to various intrinsic driving postures of a helmet wearer and a speed of vehicles.

An organic EL display device has a substrate, a plurality of organic EL elements formed on the substrate and a plurality of thin film transistors formed on the substrate. The transistors are connected to the respective EL elements for controlling current applied to the respective elements. Thin film transistor, organic electroluminescence display device and manufacturing method of the same

A lens layout block device comprising a seal feeding device that supplies an elastic seal to a seal sticking position (A). The elastic seal is loaded in a tape loading part in the form of a seal tape covered by a mount and a protective sheet and wound in a roll shape and fed by driving a motor. The protective sheet is separated by a protective sheet separating mechanism. At the seal sticking position (A), a sensor detects the leading edge of a positioning hole in the mount and stops the conveyance of the seal tape after the seal tape is fed from the detection position for a specified time. The stop position is determined as the reference sticking position of the elastic seal and a lens holder is pressed against the elastic seal from above. The mount is pulled down by the seal separating mechanism to separate the mount from the elastic seal.
