In order to provide a laminate type organic photoconductor for electrophotography excellent in abrasion resistance and having enhanced stability of characteristics and high productivity, a binder resin of a charge transport layer as an outermost layer of the laminate type photoconductor includes a specified copolymer polycarbonate resin containing at least one constitutional unit of those represented by a formula (1) and at least one constitutional unit of those represented by a formula(2).

Photoconductor for electrophotography

An electrophotographic photoconductor includes an electroconductive substrate and a photosensitive layer which is provided on the electroconductive substrate and which includes a charge generating agent, a hole charge transporting agent, and antioxidant composed of at least two antioxidant materials. In a second embodiment, the electrophotographic photoconductor includes an electroconductive substrate and a photosensitive layer which is provided on the electroconductive substrate and which includes a charge generating layer containing a charge generating agent and a charge transporting layer containing a hole charge transporting agent, and antioxidant composed of at least two antioxidant materials.

Electrophotographic photosensitive material

A photoconductor for electrophotography includes a conductive substrate; an undercoating layer formed on the conductive substrate; a charge generation layer formed on the undercoating layer; and a charge transport layer formed on the charge generation layer, wherein the undercoating layer comprises a coating film containing as the main constituent thereof an addition compound containing iodine added thereto, and wherein the charge generation layer comprises a P-type charge generation material containing iodine added thereto.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer formed on the substrate. The photosensitive layer contains one compound which is selected from the group of the compounds represented by the formulae (I), (II), (III), (IV), and (V). Therefore, the electrophotographic photoreceptor shows stable characteristics, good durability, and long span of life in repeat use.

Electrophotographic photoreceptors with anti-oxidizing agents

A photoconductor for electrophotography includes an electroconductive substrate; and a photosensitive layer provided on the electroconductive substrate and composed of an intermediate layer, a charge generation layer, and a charge transfer layer laminated in this order, wherein the intermediate layer is a doped layer and is composed of a cured layer of a copolycondensate between an amino resin and a phenolic resin hat has been subjected to doping with at least one dopant.

Photoconductor having a cured layer of an amino resin-phenol resin

A positively charged organic photosensitive body is provided, the photosensitive body being free from public hazards, and being highly sensitive and highly durable. The photosensitive body has a photosensitive layer of a laminated structure on a conductive substrate. The photosensitive layer has a charge transport layer (I) having hole mobility, a charge generation layer, and a charge transport layer (II) containing a curing product of a doped amino resin and having electron mobility. The charge transport layer (I), the charge generation layer, and the charge transport layer (II) are laminated in this order on the conductive substrate. Various suitable substances may be added to the charge transport layer (II), thereby enhancing its durability without deteriorating the photosensitive characteristics.
