The present application relates to a breast pump. The breast pump has a chamber () and a membrane (). The membrane () is receivable in the chamber () to separate the chamber () into first and second spaces (). The membrane () is also deformable in the chamber in response to a reduction of pressure in the first space () to cause a reduction of pressure in the second space (). A limiter () is in the chamber () against which the membrane () is locatable to limit deformation of the membrane ().

Breast pump

A load determination device () is provided, comprising a load cell component (), a hull component () of which the load is to be determined, the hull component () being provided in contact with the load cell component (), a base component () for supporting the load cell component () on a surface, a sealing component () for sealing the load cell component () within the load determination device () being arranged in sealing connection between the hull component () and the base component (), wherein the sealing component () comprises a bellows portion () surrounding the base component (), wherein the bellows portion () comprises a rotational symmetric rolling () directed away from the surface. The load determination device () and a corresponding method for manufacturing such load determination device () provide an improved sealing of the load cell component ().

Load determination device and corresponding manufacturing method

The present application relates to an operating unit for a breast pump system. The operating unit comprises a housing and a vacuum pump received in said housing. The housing has a connector () for attaching a tube and an outer surface () about which a tube can be wrapped. At least a section of the outer surface () is curved so that the tube can be wrapped about the housing without buckling. The outer surface () comprises a recess () and the connector () is located in the recess (), wherein a surface of the recess () distends away from the connector () so that when a tube is attached to the connector (), a portion of the tube proximal to the connector () does not buckle.

Breast pump system

The present application relates to a breast pump system comprising a pump unit, an actuator for driving the pump unit, and a power supply for supplying electrical power to the actuator, and also to a method for use in such as system. An actuator speed regulating module is provided to drive the actuator at a first speed when the pump unit is turned on, and to continue to drive the actuator at a second speed higher than the first speed after a load on the actuator reaches a predetermined level.
