Systems, methods, and apparatuses for authenticating a user based at least in part on a location of the user or a location of a user device are described. A method includes: receiving a login request including a user identifier associated with a user; transmitting a request for location information of a user device associated with the user; causing computer-executable code deployed to the user device to generate a location-based modifiable digital fingerprint comprising a first encoded value based on a unique identifier of the user device and a second encoded value based on a first location information of the user device; receiving the location-based modifiable digital fingerprint from the user device; verifying that the location information from the location-based modifiable digital fingerprint corresponds to a second location; and providing the user access to the computing device.

Systems and methods for location-binding authentication

The user may be authenticated as part of a financial transaction or as part of a login process for a computing device. The user device was previously bound or associated with the user. During the authentication, a system (e.g., a financial institution computing system or a backend authentication system) requests location information from the user device. The location information may be packaged as a digital fingerprint of the user device, which can only be created from the user device. Based on the location information, the user can be authenticated thereby approving the transaction or login request.

The VA systems of the present disclosure may also adapt its responses to users based on such privacy controls.

Methods and systems of completing tracking-based transactions are disclosed. A financial institution computing system includes a customer database retrievably storing information relating to a plurality of financial accounts, a tag database retrievably storing information relating to a plurality of tags, a network interface circuit, and a transaction circuit. The transaction circuit receives a transaction request with at least one tag relating to an order of goods from a seller computing system. A transaction schedule is generated based on the transaction request and customer information in the customer database, and is stored in the tag database. The transaction circuit receives tag data corresponding to physical movement of the order of goods and performs at least one transaction pursuant to the transaction schedule based on received tag data.

Systems and methods for tracking-based transactions

Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure can help improve the functionality of virtual assistant (VA) systems by recognizing and tracking a user's mood and adapting its responses accordingly. Embodiments of the present disclosure may utilize data in real-time or near-real-time to identify a user's mood, as well as tracking a user's preferences and reactions in past interactions with the VA or in other contexts.

As described in this disclosure, a financial institution receives checks drawn on other financial institutions as customer deposits. When the financial institution receives a check, the financial institution automatically applies one or more customizable business rules to identify a method to clear the check. The financial institution then uses the identified method to clear the check.
