A pick-up head for groups of tissue products including a support which can be connected to a robotic arm. The support has a first sliding guide in which a first pair of compacting means runs, between an open configuration and a compacting configuration. The pick-up head also includes a plurality of unidirectional chains, wherein the unidirectional chains are positioned outside each compacting means of the first pair and slide between an engaging position and a disengaging position. The pick-up head also includes a plurality of guides associated with respective unidirectional chains, in such a way that the unidirectional chains protrude beyond an end edge of a horizontal stretch of the guide in such a way as to create a cantilever support designed to support the bottom of the group of tissue products during its movement.

A machine for packaging soft products, including a conveyor defining a ring-shaped path having an active linear lower branch facing a feed plane and a non-active linear upper branch Each of a plurality of carriages supports a tooth, projecting towards the feed plane during the passage on the lower branch. A transfer device moves one group of products at a time, with a corresponding sheet of wrapping material folded around the group, towards the feed plane and to a receiving compartment defined by a first and a second tooth, along a second direction transversal to a first direction. Along the lower linear branch there are a number of teeth equal to the number of groups positioned or arrived on the feed plane. Each tooth is configured to define simultaneously a pushing tooth and a tooth containment when the tooth is interposed between two groups along the feed plane.

Machine for packaging soft products

A machine for packaging soft products, including a conveyor defining a ring-shaped path having an active linear lower branch facing a feed plane and a non-active linear upper branch. Each of a plurality of carriages supports a tooth, projecting towards the feed plane during the passage on the lower branch, and configured for retaining and feeding along the feed plane the groups of products. A transfer device moves one group of products at a time, with a corresponding sheet of wrapping material folded into a 'U' shape around the group, towards the feed plane and to a receiving compartment defined by a first and a second tooth, along a second direction transversal to a first direction. Each tooth includes a head permanently connected to the carriage and an operating portion in contact with the groups which can be separated from and reconnected to the head.

Described is a machine for wrapping groups () of products in a roll, comprising: a packaging unit () positioned above a feed channel (); a transfer element () configured for feeding, in a feed direction (V), to the packaging unit () the groups () of products in a roll with a corresponding sheet of wrapping material (); feed and positioning units () configured for feeding the sheet () of wrapping material inside the vertical channel (), in a direction (T) transversal to the direction (V) for feeding the group () of products; the machine also comprises means () for controlled retaining and unwinding of the sheet () of wrapping material positioned along the vertical feed channel (); a first movement unit () connected to the controlled retaining and unwinding means () and configured to move the controlled retaining and unwinding means () from a position of free passage of the sheet () of wrapping material to a position for bilateral retaining of the sheet () of wrapping material positioned in the channel (); a second movement unit () connected to the controlled retaining and unwinding means () and configured to move the controlled retaining and unwinding means (), located in the retaining position, so as to unwind the sheet () of wrapping material in a controlled manner and at the movement of the transfer element () from the first lower operating position to a second upper operating position.

Machine for wrapping groups of products in a roll and packaging process

A packaging apparatus () for nappies () or other soft, flat, folded sanitary articles comprises: packaging arrangement for positioning a plastic film so it is tight against a set () of nappies (); a feeder () set up to feed the nappies to the packaging arrangement; at least one comb () configured to selectively withdraw groups () of nappies from a nappy () stacker device () and place them on the feeder (). Packaging apparatus and method for nappies or other soft, flat, folded sanitary articles

An apparatus for wrapping batches of products for insertion into a carton includes a lifter for lifting a batch from a first height to a second height at which a pusher pushes the batch into a tunnel toward a loading zone along a direction of movement, a station for feeding wrapping film to a folder that supports and guides the film around the tunnel; a longitudinal sealer configured to join two longitudinal flaps of the film to form a tubular shape; a transverse sealer positioned close to a rear end of the tunnel for joining the top and bottom flaps of the tubular film; and a pair of panels for containing/retaining the batch coming out from the tunnel; the panels being slideable along respective side walls of the tunnel to modify the operating length of the tunnel.
