A heating and capacitive sensing device for a steering wheel of a motor vehicle. The device includes a support made from an electrically insulating flexible material to which at least an electrically conductive first track and at least an electrically conductive second track are fixed. An electronic control unit including a capacitance reading module is electrically connected to the at least one second track. The electronic control unit is configured to control the at least one first track and at least one second track, so that the at least one first track is suited to generate heat for heating the steering wheel, and at least one second track is configured to operate as a capacitive sensor means by sending capacitance values to the electronic control unit.

The present invention relates to a method and device for measuring the temperature in power resistors based on the measurement of the high-frequency circuit parameters of said resistor. The present invention excludes the use of thermocouples, dedicated temperature sensors or thermo chambers.

Method and device for measuring the temperature in electric power resistors

A radiator with reduced thermal inertia, based on the principle of phase changing, using a non-toxic, non-flammable fluid with reduced environmental impact. The radiator is provided by means of vertical pipes which engage a collector containing a pipe bundle-type exchanger with smooth or finned pipes, internally crossed by the thermo-vector fluid of the system, and which heat the intermediate vector fluid, bringing it to the biphasic state. The vector fluid evaporates, rising up the vertical pipes, flowing through the channels obtained in the extruded profiles of the vertical pipes themselves. The fluid re-descends, condensing on the walls, returning into contact with the hot pipes of the exchanger in order to re-evaporate and rise back up the vertical pipes. The film of condensed liquid provides the required heat exchange. The terminal is further equipped with mechanical parts which allow the inserting of temperature sensors for possible monitoring and control of consumption and system operation and control thereof, by means of on-board electronic control devices (electric valves) and remote devices suitably operating in radio-frequency.

A radiator of the thermosiphon type comprising a collector situated in the lowest part of the radiator, and adapted to contain an intermediate vector fluid, an external heat source, placed within the collector, wherein the intermediate vector fluid is adapted to evaporate on contact with a hot surface of the external heat source, at least one vertical tube containing therein one or more channels () connected to the collector and communicating with the same, characterized in that said collector and said channels are dimensioned so that each section thereof crossed by the intermediate vector fluid, excluding the thickness of the liquid film of moisture, has the smallest linear direction which is twice bigger than the diameter db of an intermediate fluid vapor bubble which, during operation, detaches itself from the hot surface of the external source during boiling of the intermediate fluid.

A radiator in particular for room heating, comprising a control or measurement unit accommodated in a container integral with the radiator and positioned so as to sustain the heat from the radiator as little as possible, while exploiting a cool air flow drawn by the same to cool the internal circuitry defining the unit. Said container is conveniently spaced apart from the radiator by means of insulating elements and a part of the same container is formed by a heat dissipator to which one or more electronic power elements included in said circuitry are thermally connected.

The support may be adapted to be associated with the radiator () so as to allow to adjust the fastening point so as to facilitate the installation thereof. Moreover, the support () may comprise a removable part () in order to further simplify the installation of the radiator.
