A measuring and/or control system (), to control for example a machine tool, comprises at least a first and a second unit, each comprising electronic circuits and at least one socket. The systems further includes a multipolar cable () containing a plurality of wires (A) and having a first and a second end, each provided with a multipolar connector () adapted to be coupled to a socket of the first unit and second unit. At least one of the multipolar connectors of the multipolar cable is a fast wiring multipolar connector () provided with a first body (A) and a second body (B), adapted to be plugged into the first body. The first body comprises a support with two opposite faces, a first group of electrical contacts fixed to one of the faces of the support and adapted to be coupled to one of the sockets of the first or second unit, and a second group of electrical contacts fixed to the other face of the support. The second body comprises a frame with a plurality of seats (S), a plurality of perforating electrical contacts (P) that are adapted to be coupled to the second group of contacts of the first group, are housed in the seats, and are configured to perforate an insulating sheath which covers the wires (A) and to fasten and electrically connect the wires and the perforating electrical contacts to each other, and a plurality of movable elements (D) coupled to the frame and adapted to cooperate, in the seats, with the wires housed in the multipolar cable () in order to fasten and electrically connect the wires (A) and the perforating electrical contacts (P) to each other.

Measuring and/or checking system including at least two units, and method to connect such units

A measuring and/or control system (), to control for example a machine tool, comprises at least a first and a second unit, each comprising a casing with a front wall, electronic circuits and at least one socket. The system further comprises a bridge connector () having a first multipolar connector (A) and a second multipolar connector (B), each of which can be coupled to one of the sockets in order to electrically connect the first and the second unit. In each of the first unit and second unit, the socket is positioned on the respective front wall and comprises planar electrical contacts. The first and the second multipolar connectors of the bridge connector are directed in the same direction so as to face the front wall of the first unit and the second unit and each comprise retractable contacts. The bridge connector comprises fastening elements for fastening the bridge connector to the front wall of the first unit and of the second unit.

Measuring and/or checking system including at least two units, and method to manage relative electrical connections

An apparatus for checking diameter and roundness of crankpins () in the course of the machining in a grinding machine, includes a Vee-shaped reference device (), a gauging device with a movable feeler () associated with the Vee-shaped device () and a movable support () device for the Vee-shaped reference device. The movable support device is coupled () to the grinding-wheel slide () and includes, in working condition, two parallelogram structures () in series enabling substantially translation displacements of the Vee-shaped device (). One of the two parallelogram structures () includes an axially movable stem (), with end surfaces () that, in working condition, contact the external surface of bearings (), thereby setting the distance separating two of the four vertexes () of the parallelogram (), whereas when the apparatus is in the rest position, at least one of said end surfaces () is separated from the surface of the associated bearing. During the checking, the direction of the feeler () displacements remains substantially unaltered.
