A low-voltage circuit breaker comprising one or more electrical poles, each of said poles having an internal space with a contact area and an arc extinguishing area, a fixed contact assembly and a movable contact assembly being positioned in said contact area, said movable contact assembly being movable between a closed position in which it is into contact with said fixed contact assembly and an open position in which it is spaced apart from said fixed contact assembly, an arc chamber comprising a plurality of substantially parallel arc-breaking plates made of a ferromagnetic material being positioned in said arc extinguishing area. The low-voltage circuit breaker is characterized in that said arc chamber further comprises at least one arc-breaking plate which is at least partially made of a ceramic material.

Low-voltage circuit breaker

The present invention relates to a control mechanism for the displacement of at least one moving contact of a low-voltage circuit-breaking device. The control mechanism comprises elastic means operatively connectable to the moving contact, at least a first element of which is operatively connected to a second element by means of pin-shaped connection means. The first and second elements each comprise a pair of facing lateral portions that are connected by a transverse portion. The pin-shaped connection means comprise a pair of pin-shaped ends, each of which emerges from one side of a lateral portion of the first element. Said pin-shaped means also comprise a pair of seats, each of which is defined on a lateral portion of the second element. Each pin-shaped end is inserted in a corresponding seat so as to configure an axis of mutual rotation between the first and the second elements. The elastic means are arranged so as to exert a retaining force on the pin-shaped ends sufficient to keep them coupled to the corresponding seats in which they are inserted.

Control mechanism for a circuit-breaking device and a circuit-breaking device comprising said mechanism

The present invention relates to a moving element for a low voltage switching device and to a switching device comprising this moving element. The moving element according to the invention comprises for each pole a housing unit suitable to receive an elastic element which interacts with an electrical contact. This latter comprises a first contact portion susceptible to contact a further electrical contact and a second portion connectable to a conductive element of the switching device. The electrical contact comprises a pin shaped portion positioned rotating in a seat defined on the housing unit so as to configure a mutual rotation axis of the electrical contact with respect to the housing unit.

The present invention relates to a circuit-breaking device for low-voltage systems with a control mechanism that has improved characteristics of compact size and reliability. The circuit-breaking device according to the invention comprises an outer housing containing, for each pole, at least one fixed contact and at least one moving contact suitable for being mutually coupled and uncoupled. The device also comprises a control mechanism comprising a supporting frame that supports a kinematic chain operatively connected to the moving contact so as to enable the latter to be coupled to or uncoupled from the fixed contact. The supporting frame comprises a pair of sides connected by means of a first transverse connecting portion and by further connection means that define a further transverse connecting portion in a different position from that of the first transverse connecting portion.

Circuit-breaking device for low-voltage systems

A moving element for a low voltage switching device is provided. The moving element comprises a shaped body provided for each pole, a housing unit housing at least one electrical contact, and an actuating connecting rod provided with a pair of lateral portions connected by a transverse portion. The actuating connecting rod is connected to the shaped body through pin connection means comprising a first and a second pin shaped portion, emerging from one side of a corresponding lateral portion. The shaped body comprises a pair of seats, each to house a corresponding pin shaped portion so as to define a rotation axis for the connecting rod with respect to the shaped body. The first lateral portion and the second lateral portion of the connecting rod respectively comprise a first and a second mating surface.

The present invention relates to a connection device for low-voltage switches (), which is particularly suited for low-voltage automatic switches both in the fixed version and in the withdrawable version. The device comprises a first terminal board () positioned on a corresponding switch () and comprising a plurality of terminals for electrical connection to one or more devices or accessories inside the switch and one or more cable clamps () for connection between said terminals and one or more corresponding connection cables. The cable clamp () comprises a shaped body () having a first end () shaped to couple mechanically and electrically with the first terminal board (). Said shaped body () has a first opening () for insertion of a first connection cable and comprises conductive means () positioned inside for electrical connection between the terminals of the terminal board () and a corresponding connection cable.
