An apparatus () includes an engagement element (), fitted on a household appliance casing for being releasably held by a retaining element () fitted on the door (D). The engagement element () includes a support body (); and a striker (), releasably coupled to the retaining element () and is mobile between a retracted position and an extracted position. When the striker () is coupled to the retaining element () and assumes the retracted position and the extracted position, respectively, the door (D) is in a complete closing condition and in a pre-opening condition, respectively. A stop mechanism () moves from a release condition, to liberate said striker (), to a locking condition, to hold said striker (), in said retracted position; a driver controls movement of the stop mechanism (). The stop mechanism () has a manually controlled safety element () and is moveable to constrain the stop mechanism.

A dishwasher door closing device () includes an engagement element (), fitted on the casing (C) of the household appliance (W) releasably held by a retaining element () on the door (D). The engagement element () includes a support body (), a catch () releasably coupled to the retaining element () moving between a refracted position coupled to the retaining element () and the door (D) is closed, and an extracted position coupled to the retaining element () and the door (D) is in a pre-opening condition. A stop mechanism () tends to move from a release condition, in which it () frees the catch () to move from the retracted position to the extracted position, to a locking position and () holds the catch (). An electrically-operated actuator system () controls passage of the stop mechanism () from the locking position to the release position.

Device for closing the door of a household appliance, in particular for a washing machine, such as a dishwasher

A device () includes a support structure (), on which there are mounted a plug (), which is adapted to assume a plurality of operating positions including an opening position and a closing position, in which the plug is adapted to at least partially free and respectively obstruct a passage (), which is meant for a fluid flow. A mechanism () is suited to move and hold the plug () between said operating positions. An opening actuator () and a closing actuator () are suited to separately act upon the mechanism (), so that the mechanism () moves and holds the plug () between said operating positions, namely towards said opening position and towards said closing position, respectively, due to electric current supplied to the opening actuator () and to the closing actuator respectively.

A system () includes an engagement element () mounted on a household appliance (W) door (D). A supporting body () is releasably held by a retaining element () mounted on a cabinet (C). A striker () releasably couples to the retaining element () and moves between retracted and extracted positions. When the striker () is retracted the door (D) is fully closed, and when extracted the door is pre-opened relative to the cabinet (C). An actuator () controls a locking mechanism () that tends to switch from an unlocked condition, allowing the striker () to move from the retracted to the extracted position, to a locked condition, holding the striker () in the retracted position. A thrust member () exerts thrust on the door (D), facilitating switching to pre-opened when the striker () couples to the retaining element (), locking the locking mechanism ().

The device () comprises a body () in which are formed a first and second chamber () separated sealingly from each other by a resilient diaphragm (). The first chamber () has an inlet opening () intended to be put in pneumatic communication with the region of a container which is above the liquid; the second chamber () communicates with the atmosphere. A winding () is mounted in a fixed position in the body (), on the side opposite the first chamber () with respect to the diaphragm (). A core () is coupled to the diaphragm () and is movable with respect to the winding () such that in operation the inductance of the winding () varies as a function of the position of the core. The device also comprises a first spring () tending to move the core () towards the diaphragm (), and a second spring () tending to oppose the action of the first spring (). The device comprises a stationary body which has, defined inside it, a passage for a flow of liquid with at least one inlet opening and one outlet opening for the flow and in which at least one valve seat directed towards the outlet opening is defined in the vicinity of the inlet opening and in a middle portion of which a shaped transverse annular surface is formed. A movable body is arranged in the passage and co-operates in the manner of a flow throttling member with the transverse annular surface so as to define for the liquid flowing from the inlet opening to the outlet opening a flow cross section variable depending on the pressure of the liquid at the inlet of the support body. The movable body co-operates moreover in the manner of a obturator with the seat and a return spring tends to push it against this seat away from said shaped annular surface.

Flow regulating device

The device comprises a valve body with an input adapted to be connected to a water supply source, and with at least a first and second output. The body is provided with at least a first and a second electrovalve with direct actuation, whose hydraulic inputs are interconnected with one another and are connected to the input of the valve body and whose outputs are independent or separate and are connected to the first and the second output of the body respectively. The body is provided with a third solenoid electrovalve, for safety purposes, interposed between the input of the body and the inputs of the first and second electrovalves. Control devices are coupled to this third electrovalve such that the latter may be opened/closed each time that the first or second electrovalve is opened/closed. This third electrovalve closes in a delayed manner with respect to the closure of the first and the second electrovalve.

The sensor comprises a body in which a diaphragm is mounted so as to define a variable-volume chamber to which a fluid pressure is supplied in use, and a plurality of electrical switches connected to the diaphragm so that the diaphragm can bring about switching of the switches when the pressure in the chamber exceeds corresponding different threshold values which are predetermined by associated calibration means including, for each switch, a respective spring the compression of which can be varied by means of a corresponding reaction member the position of which relative to the body is adjustable. The reaction members are connected rigidly to the ends of an interconnection structure translatable in a guide structure. This guide structure comprises a plurality of laterally-slotted, tubular guide projections, each for guiding a corresponding reaction member, and an intermediate guide projection for guiding the sliding of a central portion of the interconnection structure with which are associated a resilient member tending to bring about a relative movement between the interconnection structure and the body and a snap locating device for restraining the interconnection structure selectively, against the action of the resilient means in one of a plurality of positions relative to the body, in each of which respective different pressure threshold values are associated with the electrical switches.
