A cutting machine with a chassis including a frame and a coupling support configured to be mounted on a three-point hitch of a tractor, and with an arm connected directly to the frame by a first articulation and extending, at least during work, laterally relative to the frame, the arm carrying a work element and configured, by a displacement device, to be pivoted relative to the frame between a work position, a maneuver position, and a transport position. The displacement device includes a connecting-rod and at least a first jack articulated between the frame and the connecting-rod and a second jack articulated to the arm and connected to the connecting-rod by a pin. At least one guide bearing is connected to the gearbox by assembly elements. A mower includes a linking structure designed to link the mower to a motor vehicle; a cutting mechanism with driven cutting elements that include cutting tools; and a windrowing device designed to move laterally, toward a median plane of the cutting mechanism, the product that has been cut by the cutting elements before it is dropped to the ground. The windrowing device has at least one guiding element for the cut product, located in the vicinity of one of the lateral ends of the cutting mechanism, and considering the direction of work, behind the front of the cut of the cutting mechanism. The guiding element has at least two rotors arranged crosswise to the direction of work and to the rotation axis directed upward during work. The rotors are hung to a carrying structure linked to the cutting mechanism and/or to the linking structure, and the rotors are driven in rotation by way of a driving mechanism. The rotors are windrowing rotors that are arranged in the immediate vicinity of one another and are hung to the carrying structure from their top, and the lower end of a windrowing rotor extends at least to the cutting plane defined by the cutting tools of the corresponding cutting elements.

A cutting device includes a cutting mechanism, a hitching structure designed to be connected to a motor vehicle, a support beam joined to the hitching structure and to the cutting mechanism and a traction device. The traction device is comprised of at least one draw-spring designed to lighten the cutting mechanism during operation and a control device designed to void the action of the at least one draw-spring when the cutting device is placed. The control device has, among other things, a rod at one of the ends to which the at least one draw-spring is attached. The control device is comprised of a cylinder which has the rod, a body, a piston which separates the body into first and second chambers, and a fluid circuit which has a device which allows the fluid to enter the first chamber located on the side of the at least one draw-spring when the latter must be tightened, and allows the fluid to leave the first chamber when the at least one draw-spring must be relaxed.
