A neutralization device for a payload carried by a vector, such as a rocket. This device incorporates at least one explosively-formed charge, where such charge is made integral with the vector by a positioning device ensuring the orientation of its direction of action towards the payload.

A vehicle bumper with shock-absorbers, including a rigid support attached to a vehicle onto which a bumper shell is fitted, the shock-absorbers including at least two pyrotechnic actuators linking the rigid support to the vehicle, the actuators being connected for activation by a control system including an impact or deceleration sensor, and each pyrotechnic actuator including at least two gas-generating powder tablets to be primed individually by the control system.

An active protection device for a surface, the device having at least one casing enclosing at least one shaped charge having a direction of action substantially parallel to or else inclined with respect to the surface as well as detection device ensuring the triggering of the shaped charge in response to the onset of a projectile. The casing encloses four dihedral shaped charges forming a quadrilateral, or four groupings of shaped charges, and having converging directions of action, the directions of action of the shaped charges can be inclined with respect to the surface and oriented towards the outside of the surface.

The charge of the invention comprises a plate placed between the explosive charge and the liner. The diameter of the plate is equal to the internal diameter of the casing of the charge. The material used for the plate must be such that its density is lower than or equal to that of the material used for the liner and must have a volumetric compressibility modulus greater than or equal to 100 GPa, with the thickness of the plate greater than or equal to that of the liner at any point of a central area surrounding the axis of the charge, so as to ensure that upon initiation of the charge the centripetal deformation of the plate will be less than that of the liner.
