A high pressure valve includes a body on which is fixed an electromagnet, the shell of which has a radial discal part provided with a central hole connecting an internal opposite surface to an external surface. The body is provided with a cylindrical external centring surface and with a radial support surface. The shell is arranged on the body around the centring surface, the external discal surface being in surface contact against the support surface of the body. The coil of the electromagnet is arranged in the tubular space between the body and the shell itself closed by a closure ring. The liquid-tightness between the body and the shell is ensured by a gasket compressed by a wedging washer against the centring surface and against the internal discal surface. The shell is then immobilized on the body by the wedging washer.

High pressure valve

An arrangement of a high-pressure valve at the end of a common rail of a fuel injection system, a high-pressure channel of the rail opening out at one extremity of the rail, includes a throttle stopper arranged at the extremity of the rail. An output orifice restricts a section of the high-pressure channel and a valve seat is positioned in the throttle stopper. The output channel is fully formed inside the valve body.

Integrated arrangement of a high-pressure valve and an injection rail

An inlet valve assembly for a high-pressure fuel pump is disclosed. The inlet valve assembly comprises an inlet valve member moveable between open and closed positions to control the fuel flow from a source of low-pressure fuel to a pumping chamber of the fuel pump, a first biasing spring arranged to apply a first force to the valve member in an opening direction, a second biasing spring arranged to apply a second force to the valve member in a closing direction, and an actuator arrangement operable to remove the first force from the valve member, thereby to allow the valve member to move into its closed position.

Valve assembly

A nozzle able to be arranged in a diesel injection system of the internal combustion engine of a vehicle comprises a fixed member provided with a nozzle seat at the center of which there opens a discharge orifice, the fixed member comprising a cylindrical tubular part defining an inner guide cylinder extending axially from an open first end as far as the seat that forms the closed end of the guide cylinder, and a shut-off member arranged and guided in the guide cylinder, the shut-off member being able to move between a closed state (EF) when the shut-off member is in abutment against the seat and an open state (EO) when the shut-off member opens the discharge orifice.

An electro-valve for discharging a common rail while maintaining a minimum pressure, comprising an electro-magnetic coil inside which is arranged a movable plunger, controlling the displacements of a movable axis engaging a ball valve, said movable plunger being urged in the closing position of the ball valve by a spring housed inside a bearing cap, wherein a bottom wall of the bearing cap surrounds an external surface of the movable plunger, wherein a clearance between the external surface of the plunger and an internal wall of the bearing cap is filled with a film of fuel, the opening movement of the plunger causing the fuel to flow from a room situated on top of the plunger to a bore in which the axis is arranged, wherein a sleeve of a controlled thickness is arranged around the plunger within the clearance to set the thickness of said film of fuel.

Electro-valve for discharging common rail

The cylindrical wall of the first housing is coaxial with, rotatable relative to, and axially fixed relative to, the cylindrical wall of the second housing. A shaft (,) positioned inside the first and second housings is capable of moving in the axial direction relative to the first and second housings. A first tripot joint (,) is mounted on the shaft and has rollers (,) positioned in helically extending grooves (,) formed in the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the first housing. A second tripot joint (,) is mounted on the shaft and has rollers (,) positioned in helically extending grooves (,) formed in the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the second housing. The grooves in the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the first housing have an opposite rotational direction about the axis (A) to the grooves in the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the second housing. Fluid chambers (,) are associated with the shaft and the first and second housings to control the relative rotational movement therebetween.
