A sealing sheet for closing a container-defining sheet having a top surface comprising a given number of spaced apart cavities embossed therein, each of the cavities being upwardly opened and defining a container surrounded by a flange. The sealing sheet includes a top layer having a lower surface covered with pressure sensitive adhesive glue, and a bottom layer having an upper surface detachably fixed to the lower surface of the top layer by pressure sensitive adhesive glue. The bottom layer being peelable from the lower surface of the top layer to allow fixation of the sealing sheet onto the top surface of the container-defining sheet in order to close the containers defined in the same. The sealing sheet also includes an additional layer that is tearable into additional elements that are foldably attached on top of each of the containers and on which additional information may be printed.

Disclosed is a sealing sheet for use to close a container-defining sheet having a top surface comprising a given number of spaced apart cavities embossed therein, each of the cavities being upwardly opened and thus defining a container that is surrounded by a flange that is part of the top surface of the container-defining sheet. This sealing sheet has a top layer which can be glued to the flanges surrounding the containers of the container-defining sheet in order to close said containers. The top layer is advantageously made of a water-proof material such aluminum, in order to make the closure of the container-defining sheet moisture proof once such a closure has been completed. This top layer advantageously also has a top surface that is printable to ensure that relevant information as to the content of each container being made available on it if desired.

Disclosed is an improved sealing sheet for use to close a container-defining sheet having a top surface comprising a given number of spaced apart cavities embossed therein, each of the cavities being upwardly opened and thus defining a container that is surrounded by a flange that is part of the top surface of the container-defining sheet. This improved sealing sheet has a top layer with tearing lines punched therein in such a manner and position as to extend from one side of each cover piece that may be splitted from the sealing sheet to cover one of the cavities in line with opposite sides of a bottom piece left on the corresponding cover piece. Such facilitates peeling of the bottom piece and of the corresponding part of the cover piece from the corresponding container to have access to the element(s) stored in it while preventing glue to be left on the flanges that surround the top opening of the container since such flanges are then still covered by non splitted parts of the sealing sheet.

Such facilitates peeling of the bottom piece and of the corresponding part of the cover piece from the corresponding container to have access to the element(s) stored in it while preventing glue to be left on the flanges that surround the top opening of the container since such flanges are then still covered by non splitted parts of the sealing sheet.

A sealing sheet for use to close in a reversible manner a plurality of individual pill containers formed in a plastic sheet. The sealing sheet has a top layer, an adhesive layer and a peelable backing. The top layer and the adhesive layer are made of paper. The adhesive layer has a plurality of spaced apart holes punched therein, which are surrounded by adhesive layer bands having an upper surface that is covered with an upper layer of pressure sensitive adhesive glue and is attached by this glue to the top layer, and a lower surface covered with a lower layer of removable re-positionable pressure sensitive adhesive glue. The peelable backing also has a plurality of spaced apart holes that are positioned, shaped and sized to be in exact superimposition below the holes of the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer. The holes of the backing are surrounded by backing bands having an upper surface detachably fixed to the lower surface of the adhesive layer bands by means of the lower layer of removable re-positionable pressure sensitive adhesive glue. In use, the backing bands can be peeled off from the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer bands to allow fixation of the sealing sheet onto the container-defining sheet. Tearing lines are punched into both the top layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer bands in such a manner and position as to allow the top layer and pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer to be split into a number of cover pieces equal to the number of holes made in the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer.

Peelable sealing sheet for individual pill containers and method for manufacturing the same

A kit to sort out pills, tablets or capsules, which comprises a recessed support, a container-defining sheet designed to fit into the support, and a sealing sheet made of self-adhesive paper as having substantially the same dimension as the container-defining sheet, so as to close the same. Positioning elements are provided on the sealing sheet and on the support and/or the container-defining sheet in order to facilitate proper fixation of the sealing sheet on top of the container-defining sheet. A pill-sorting device made of two sliding panels with hollow bottomed recesses can be used to insert the pills into the containers of the container-defining sheet.
