The present technology relates to a polymer comprising at least one ester repeating unit and one ether repeating unit for use in an electrochemical cell, particularly in electrochemical accumulators such as lithium batteries, sodium batteries, potassium batteries and lithium-ion batteries. More specifically, the use of this polymer as a solid polymer electrolyte (SPE), as a matrix for forming gel electrolytes, or as a binder in an electrode material are also contemplated.

The present technology relates to a sulfur-containing polymer or organic compound for use in a positive electrode material, especially in lithium batteries. More specifically, the use of this sulfur-containing polymer or compound as an active electrode material makes it possible to combine sulfur and an active organic cathode material. The present technology also relates to the use of the sulfur-containing polymer or organic compound as defined herein as a solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) or as an additive for electrolyte, especially in lithium batteries.

Sulfur-containing compounds and polymers and the use thereof in electrochemical cells

A copolymer for constituting a polymer electrolyte for a solid-electrolyte lithium or sodium cell. A polymer electrolyte that is usable in combination with high-voltage cathode active materials and makes it possible to provide solid-electrolyte lithium or sodium cells and/or batteries having a high energy density that is sufficient even for use in electricity-based vehicles, the copolymer encompasses at least two ion-conductive polymers, the copolymer encompassing at least one polymer polymerized by ring-opening polymerization of at least one lactone and/or of at least one lactide and/or of at least one cyclic carbonate and/or of at least one cyclic carbamate and/or of at least one lactam and/or of at least one epoxide, and/or at least one polymer polymerized by radical polymerization of acrylonitrile and/or of at least one acrylonitrile derivative; and encompasses at least one polyacrylate having at least one repeating unit.

High-voltage stable copolymer for constituting a polymer electrolyte for a lithium or sodium cell

Polymers used as rolling lubricating agents, to compositions including said polymers, and to alkali metal films including the polymers or compositions on the surface(s) thereof. The use of said polymers and compositions is also described for strip-rolling alkali metals or alloys thereof in order to obtain thin films. Methods for producing said thin films, which are suitable for use in electrochemical cells, are also described. An improved lubricant according to formula I, which, for example, achieves enhanced conductivity, and/or enables the production of electrochemical cells having an improved life span in cycles.

Polymers and the use thereof as lubricating agents in the production of alkali metal films

The present technology described relates to lithium-based alloy electrode materials used for the production of anode in lithium accumulators and processes for obtaining same. The alloy comprises metallic lithium, a metallic component Xselected from magnesium and aluminum and a metallic component Xselected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, rare earths, zirconium, copper, silver, bismuth, cobalt, zinc, aluminum, silicon, tin, antimony, cadmium, mercury, lead, manganese, boron, indium, thallium, nickel, germanium, molybdenum and iron. Processes for preparing electrode materials thus obtained and their uses are also described.

Electrode materials in the form of lithium-based alloy and methods for manufacturing same

The present invention relates to a sodium-ion battery comprising a positive electrode compartment comprising a positive electrode, said positive electrode comprising a Na-insertion compound; a negative electrode compartment comprising a negative electrode, said negative electrode comprising metallic sodium; and an electrolyte composition comprising a solid sodium-ion conductive ceramic electrolyte and a catholyte comprising a metallic salt with formula MY, wherein M is a cation selected from an alkali metal and an alkali-earth metal; and Y is an anion selected from [RSONSOR], CFSO, C(CN), B(CO)and BF(CO), wherein Rand Rare independently selected from fluorine or a fluoroalkyl group. The device is able to operate below the melting point of the anode component.

Sodium ceramic electrolyte battery

A method of preparing an electrochemical electrode which is partially or totally covered with a film that is obtained by spreading an aqueous solution comprising a water-soluble binder over the electrode and subsequently drying same. The production cost of the electrodes thus obtained is reduced and the surface porosity thereof is associated with desirable resistance values.

Organic electrolyte compounds for redox-flow batteries

The present arrangement provides compounds (I) AM(YO4)Z(I) that are obtained from precursors of the constituent elements by a method having steps that can include dispersion of the precursors in a liquid support having one or more ionic liquids made up of a cation and an anion the electric charges of which balance out to give a suspension of the precursors in the liquid. The suspension is heated to a temperature of 25 to 380&#xb0; C. and the ionic liquid and the inorganic oxide of formula (I) are separated from the reaction of the precursors.

An electrolyte composition comprises said salt in solution in a liquid solvent or a polymer solvent.
