The camera includes a chip of infrared detectors disposed in lines and a processing chip. The latter comprises integrators for integrating the output currents of the detectors, controlled by an automatic gain control loop for reducing the dynamic of the signal, delay lines, a summator for each line of detectors, error correction devices for reducing the fixed spatial noise errors, and a multiplexer receiving the signals associated with the various lines of detectors and furnishing a signal to a display device.

Parallel scan thermal camera

The elementary memory cells of an image recording and readout apparatus are disposed in a staggered arrangement on a semiconductor substrate 61, each cell comprising a central transparent conducting electrode 66 connected to a column conductor 67 and a peripheral transparent conducting electrode 69 connected to a row conductor 70. Conducting guard electrodes 71 are disposed in subjacent relationship to the row and column conductors.

Image recording and reading apparatus

A device for measuring an angular deviation by a space-time modulated heterodyne detection comprising a coherent optical radiation transmitter pointed at a target, a local transmitter of a coherent optical radiation having the same wavelength as the preceding radiation, a photovoltaic detector, means for focussing at a point on said detector the radiation reflected by the target, and means for converting the radiation of the local transmitter into a parallel beam and causing said parallel beam to impinge perpendicularly on the surface of said detector, wherein the means for space-time modulating the heterodyne detection are interposed in the path of the radiation from the local transmitter.
