An arthrodesis implant () for promoting the osseous fusion of a first bone () with a second bone (), the implant () comprising a primary component () including a primary anchoring body () and a male connector (), and a secondary component () including a secondary anchoring body () and a female connector (), the female connector () comprising: a main body () which extends longitudinally between a rear end () linked to the secondary anchoring body () and an opposite front face (), and which has a lateral wall () linking the rear end () to the front face (), a housing () formed within the main body () and configured to receive the male connector () in order to link together the primary () and secondary () components, the female connector () further comprising an opening () which is formed in the main body (), in communication with the housing (), and which extends continuously on both the front face () and the lateral wall (), and which is sized and configured to enable a lateral introduction of the male connector () into the housing () via the opening (), each of the primary () and secondary () components forming an integral part made in one piece, and the primary () and secondary () anchoring bodies being respectively designed to ensure the insertion and anchoring of the primary component () into the first bone (), and of the secondary component () into the second bone (), by impaction or by forced wedging.

An assembly for reducing a fracture between an epiphysis and a diaphysis of a bone has a bone plate having a fan-shaped outer end formed with a plurality of outer holes and a bar-shaped inner end extending along a longitudinal axis from the outer end and formed with a plurality of inner holes. The plate further is formed on the bar-shaped inner end with a longitudinally extending through going guide slot and between the guide slot and the outer holes with an aperture. A slide has a longitudinally extending leg with an inner end formed with a guide formation engaged into and longitudinally slidable along the guide slot and a crosspiece overlying the aperture and engaging the bone plate to both transverse sides of the aperture. The crosspiece is formed with a transversely elongated slide slot, and a slide screw engaged through the slide.

An orthopaedic implant used in arthroplasty of the fingers comprises a first element for a proximal phalanx and a second element for an adjacent distal phalanx, each element having a respective stem for implantation in the bone and an interphalangeal articulation head, the head of the first element having a biconvex surface of articulation, with a central valley, and the head of the second element having a biconcave surface of articulation designed to cooperate with said convex surface and comprising a central crest. At rest, the surfaces are congruent in the frontal plane of the articulation in the area of the condyles and non-congruent in the sagittal plane.

A bone plate for a fracture between an epiphysis and a diaphysis has an outer part unitarily formed with a fan-shaped outer end having a plurality of outer holes and an inner end extending from the outer end. A bar-shaped inner part has an outer end juxtaposed with the inner end of the outer part and formed inward of its outer end with a plurality of inner holes. A pivot is provided between the inner end of the outer part and the outer end of the inner part. Formations juxtaposed with the pivot on the inner end of the outer part and on the outer end of the inner part are lockable together in each of a plurality of angularly offset fixed positions of the inner and outer parts. When the formations are pressed together the inner and outer parts are locked angularly relative to each other.
