A power supply system for a water-bound device and to an operating method, the water-bound device having an electric shaft and in particular a first zone and a second zone, the system includes: a first DC voltage bus for a first DC voltage and a second DC voltage bus for a second DC voltage; a first energy source and a second energy source, the first energy source being provided in the first zone for supplying at least one DC voltage bus of the at least two DC voltage buses, and the second energy source being provided in the second zone for supplying at least one DC voltage bus of the at least two DC voltage buses, the energy supply system being structured at least partially in a zone-dependent manner.

Power supply system for a water-bound device

Various embodiments may include a drone for triggering sea mines by means of an external magnetic field. For example a drone may include: a drive having an electric motor; the electric motor comprising a stator and a rotor mounted on a shaft. The stator includes a stator winding arranged on a first carrier. The rotor includes a second carrier and a magnetic or electromagnetic element arranged on the second carrier. The element may be configured to magnetically interact with the stator winding to form a superordinate magnetic field during operation of the electric motor. During operation, the electric motor forms an external magnetic field outside of the electric motor with a magnetic flux density of at least 0.5 mT.

Drone for triggering sea mines

A ship drive system includes a first and one second drive shaft for driving a respective propulsion unit, wherein each of the electric drive shafts includes at least one speed-variable generator driven by an internal combustion engine for generating a motor voltage having a variable amplitude and variable frequency, and at least one speed-variable drive motor that is supplied with the voltage and coupled to the propulsion unit. The first and second drive shafts can be switched from a first operating state, in which they are electrically disconnected from each other, to a second operating state, in which they are electrically coupled to each other such energy can be transmitted from the at least one generator of the one drive shaft to the at least one drive motor of the other drive shaft. To this end, the at least one generator includes a superconductor winding.

Ship drive system having a plurality of electric drive shafts

A watercraft and controller are disclosed. An embodiment includes a controller for the water craft being configured to operate at least one drive propeller of the drive system of the watercraft below a first propeller rotational speed according to a first operating state by operating at least one drive motor, connected to the at least one drive propeller, via a first alternating voltage; and operate the at least one drive propeller above the first propeller rotational speed according to a second operating state by operating the at least one drive motor via a second alternating voltage. In a transition from the first into the second operating state or vice versa, the first internal combustion engine is operated at such a rotational speed that the at least one drive propeller is driven at the first propeller rotational speed, and the first alternating voltage is synchronized with the second alternating voltage.

Drive cascade system for a watercraft

A drive method is disclosed. An embodiment includes an operation of at least one drive propeller of the drive system below a first predefinable propeller rotational speed according to a first operating state by operating at least one drive motor, connected to the at least one drive propeller, of the drive system via a first alternating voltage. The method further includes operation of the at least one drive propeller above the first predefinable propeller rotational speed according to a second operating state by operating the at least one drive motor via a second alternating voltage. In a transition from the first operating state into the second operating state or vice versa, the first internal combustion engine is operated at such a rotational speed that the at least one drive propeller is driven at the first propeller rotational speed, and the first alternating voltage is synchronized with the second alternating voltage.

A gondola drive for a floating device has an underwater housing circulated around by water. The gondola drive contains a drive module which has a drive module housing and a shaft disposed therein, a transmission module with a transmission module housing and a transmission disposed therein and a propeller. The drive module and the transmission module are each configured as separate components connected to one another such that the drive module housing and the transmission module housing form at least a part of the underwater housing and that the shaft is coupled to the transmission for driving the propeller.
