An electronic power distribution arrangement is disclosed which includes an electrical line for supplying power to a capacitive load; a first electronic switch for fusing the capacitive load; a second electronic switch for precharging the capacitive load prior to switching through the first electronic switch; a resistor connected in series with the second switchable current path of the second electronic switch, the series connection being connected in parallel with the first switchable current path of the first electronic switch; and a controller. The controller is adapted to turn on the second electronic switch to precharge the capacitive load before turning on the first electronic switch to supply power to the capacitive load, and to turn on the first electronic switch only when a voltage across the resistor reaches a threshold value.

Electronic power distribution arrangement for fusing capacitive loads

An electronic fuse circuit for safeguarding a multi-channel electronic power distributor includes a driver circuit for each channel of the power distributor configured to control an electronic switch of a corresponding channel to assume a certain state, and a microcontroller interface configured to receive from a microcontroller a command for setting the state of the electronic switch of a corresponding channel. The driver circuit of the corresponding channel is configured to set the state of the electronic switch of the corresponding channel according to the command from the microcontroller. The electronic fuse circuit further includes a safety circuit for detecting a malfunction in the microcontroller and/or the power distributor. In the event of a detected malfunction in the microcontroller and/or the power distributor, the driver circuit of each channel is configured to set the state of the electronic switch of the corresponding channel according to a channel-specific preconfigured safety state.

A network for a vehicle and a method of making the network is described. The network is suitable for a number of vehicle network subscribers in at least two topology levels which can be distinguished spatially or functionally. An energy supply device, at least one control unit, at least one interface module, a communication interface; a number of load interfaces, at least one load interface, at least one matrix coupler are provided. The matrix coupler is set up to represent an unbundling task for linking the vehicle network subscribers, where nodes of a line-connector relationship of the graph representing the matrix-coupler in each case denotes a load interface of the number of load interfaces at the end of a line. Here, an edge of the graph denotes a connection relationship of at least one line between a first load interface and a second load interface.

A battery system for an electric vehicle is disclosed having a first battery connectable to a first electric drive; a second, redundant battery, connectable to a second, redundant electric drive; and an electronic power switch having a first input terminal, a second input terminal, and an output terminal, the first input terminal being electrically connected to the first battery, the second input terminal being electrically connected to the second battery, and the output terminal being electrically connectable to an electrical accessory, the electronic power switch being configured to selectively and electrically connect the output terminal to the first input terminal or the second input terminal to provide electrical power from the first battery or the second battery to the electrical accessory.

A distributor device and a method for a data network in a motor vehicle includes a number of first communications interfaces which can be coupled to communications partners of a first priority and a number of second communications interfaces which can be coupled to communications partners of a second priority. The second priority is lower than the first priority. The distribution device further includes a coupling device configured to couple together the first communications interfaces and the second communications interfaces, such that they communicate together, and a monitoring device configured to monitor communication along the second communications interfaces, and in the event of a communications error on one of the second communications interfaces to disconnect at least the first communications interfaces from the corresponding second communications interface so as to interrupt the communications.

The present disclosure relates to an electrical connection arrangement for connecting freely configurable electrical components in a vehicle. The electrical connection arrangement includes a plurality of electrical plug connectors which are connected to each other by a plurality of electrical connection lines of an electrical wiring harness according to a first adjacency criterion, wherein a configuration code according to a second adjacency criterion is assigned to each of the plurality of connectors, where the configuration codes of the connectors indicate a specific configuration of the freely configurable electrical components of the vehicle; and where the plurality of electrical connectors is divided into a plurality of production modules based on a combination of the first adjacency criterion and the second adjacency criterion.

A method and a device for detecting arcs includes current values for each component connected to a node being read-in, the node current and the system current determined using the current values, a correlation factor determined for each current value with the node current as quotient from node current and the respective current value, the individual quotients filtered in order to determine a correction factor for each current value, a corrected node-current equation established, wherein each current value is linked to the correction factor previously determined, in order to determine a corrected value of the node evaluation, and finally a trigger threshold is set using the corrected node-current equation.

Conductor arrangement and production method

An electrical switch for interrupting a current path. The switch includes a contact point formed from a first and a second contact piece mounted such that it can move about a rotation axis. The contact point is closed when the two contact pieces are in contact and is electrically opened when the two contact pieces are not in contact. The electrical switch includes an actuator unit and an electrically non-conductive separating element which can be moved in a translatory manner by means of the actuator unit and is designed to isolate the two contact pieces and then to keep the two contact pieces apart. The actuator unit includes a movement element mechanically coupled to the separating element, a drive device designed to move the movement element in order to close the contact point, a device for generating and/or storing kinetic energy and an electromagnetic actuator.

Electrical switch

An electrical energy supply system for a vehicle includes at least one ground conductor configured as a flat conductor rail arranged on a floor assembly of a body in white of the vehicle. At least one supply line inserted into the body in white is included and the at least one supply line is guided, at least one section of the body in white, parallel to and along the at least one ground conductor such that the at least one supply line at least partially overlaps a flat side of the at least one ground conductor. The body in white is made from a metallic material, the at least one supply line is positioned a predetermined distance from the at least one ground conductor, and the predetermined distance is a function of an electromagnetic field resulting from a current flowing through the at least one supply line.

The present disclosure relates to a device for recognizing disruptions in an on-board power supply. The device comprises a reception unit adapted to receive a first and a second temporal sequence of measurement values, the measurement values of the first sequence being measured at a first measuring point of the on-board power supply and the measurement values of the second sequence being measured at a second measuring point of the on-board power supply differing from the first measuring point, and the measurement values representing current or voltage values, and an evaluation unit adapted to recognize the occurrence of a disruption based on a comparison of the first dispersion of the measurement values of the first sequence and a second dispersion of the measurement values of the second sequence.

Device and method for recognizing disruptions in an on-board power supply

A power supply system for safety-relevant systems in a motor vehicle is provided that includes a first supply path and a second supply path. The first supply path includes a first connection point for a first voltage source, one or more first supply points for a safety-relevant load, and a first fuse between the first connection point and the first supply point. The second supply path is electrically coupled to the first supply path and includes a second connection point for a second voltage source, one or more second supply points for the safety-relevant load, and an electronic second fuse coupled between the second connection point and the second supply point. Power supply system for safety-relevant systems in a motor vehicle

The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring an on-board electrical system of a vehicle having at least one distributor and a load that are connected together via a cable. In one implementation, the method includes reading in a sequence of data for a number of parameters representing information about operation of the vehicle by a driver and/or about a state of the vehicle and/or a state of the driver and/or a driving environment; classifying the data as a normal value or an error value; and evaluating the data classified as an error value or a normal value. The normal values may lie within a state space separated from the error values by a discrimination limit. Evaluating the data classified as an error value may include determining if the data classified as an error value fulfils a criterion, and evaluating the data classified as a normal value may include statistically evaluating to determine a stochastic parameter and determining if the stochastic parameter exceeds a threshold value.

Method and control device for monitoring an on-board electrical system of a vehicle

The power distributor for vehicles according to the present disclosure includes at least the following components: an electronic attachment and a central distributor module with a printed circuit board for electrical components, a feed-in busbar to connect the printed circuit board to a feed-in terminal, and a cable directly connected to the power distributor. The electronic attachment accommodates the ESD-sensitive electronic components and serves to switch and where applicable to diagnose the electrical components on the printed circuit board and can be connected to the printed circuit board by a plug-in contact with several terminals. According to the present disclosure, the advantages of the printed circuit board for unbundling the signals to the various electrical components are combined with the advantages of a separate electronic attachment.
