Electrosprayer

A disposable fluid delivery system for an electrostatic applicator. The system includes a nozzle housing comprising an air supply port, a voltage port, and a delivery outlet. A voltage wire has a contact in communication with a delivery tube in fluid communication with the delivery outlet. A syringe includes a barrel portion and a plunger configured to advance fluids from within the barrel portion and through the delivery tube. A cartridge housing can at least partially enclose the nozzle housing, the voltage wire, and the syringe.

Disposable cartridges for electrospraying applicators, systems, and methods thereof

A method for converting spherical or amorphous metal particles into lamellar flakes that promote improved adhesive and cohesive characteristics when incorporated into coating compositions. The metal flakes produced exhibit properties compatible with binder chemistries such as isocyanates, titanates, titanate hybrids and are suitable for use in conjunction with advanced top coating techniques, such as electrodeposition. The particles produced by the method may be used in coatings and may exhibit improved substrate adhesion and improved cohesion characteristics when used in conjunction with an electrodeposition top coat.

A fixed-blade knife includes a unitary blade having an implement, a tang, and a pivot region between the implement and the tang. The unitary blade is disposed between a pair of parallel and spaced-apart side pieces that pivot to cover or expose the implement. In the pivoted position wherein the implement is exposed, the side pieces form part of the handle that is used to grasp the knife. A locking structure locks the side pieces in a selectable position, and a limit structure prevents overrotation of the side pieces.
