The present invention relates to a disk () for a disk clutch or brake () comprising a first friction surface () and a second friction surface () facing away from the first friction surface (), in which recesses and/or grooves () are provided. A first type of recesses and/or grooves (), which is generated by a material shaping and/or a material casting and/or a non-material removing first manufacturing method, is provided in the first friction surface (), and a second type of recesses and/or grooves (), which is generated by a material removing second manufacturing method, is provided in the second friction surface (). The present invention relates to a disk clutch comprising a first disk set () which is connected rotationally fixed to a first disk carrier () and a second disk set () which is connected rotationally fixed to a second disk carrier (), wherein the disks (throughthrough) of the two disk sets () may be brought into frictional engagement with one another via friction surfaces (), wherein recesses and/or grooves are provided in at least one or more friction surfaces () of the disks (throughthrough) of the first and/or second disk sets (). A first type of recesses and/or grooves () is thereby provided, which is generated by a material shaping and/or a material casting and/or a non-material removing first manufacturing method, and a second type of recesses and/or grooves () is provided, which is generated by a material removing second manufacturing method. The present invention relates to a drivetrain having a first clutch, which has an input side and an output side which is selectively connectable in terms of rotational drive to the input side, and having a transmission, which has a transmission shaft which is connected or connectable in terms of rotational drive to the output side and which is selectively connectable in terms of rotational drive to a gearwheel by means of a second clutch, wherein a rotor of an electric machine is arranged on the output side, and the electric machine, in motor operation, can be controlled or regulated so as to cause the rotational speeds of the transmission shaft and of the gearwheel to be approximated to or aligned with one another before the closure of the second clutch. The present invention also relates to a method for performing gearshifts in a transmission within a drivetrain of the type according to the invention.

A torsional vibration damper includes a primary element with at least one primary driver, a secondary element with at least one secondary driver, at least one spring device between the primary and secondary drivers for resiliently elastic coupling of the primary and secondary elements, and at least one end block arranged on an end side of the spring device. The primary element is rotatable relative to the secondary element from a neutral position into a first position, in which the primary driver is supported only on the spring device, and from the first position onward into a second position, in which the primary driver is supported on the spring device and on the end block. In the first and second positions of the primary element, torque of the torsional vibration damper can be transmitted exclusively directly between the primary driver and spring device.

A start-up clutch including a disk clutch having an outer disk carrier and an inner disk carrier with a multi-disk clutch pack disposed therebetween. The multi-disk clutch pack is adapted to engage and provide torque translation between the inner and the outer carriers. A piston is adapted to be actuated by fluid pressure to cause the multi-disk clutch pack to engage. A first cavity is adapted to be selectively supplied with pressurized fluid to actuate the piston. A second cavity is adapted to be selectively supplied with pressurized fluid to provide cooling to the multi-disk clutch pack. A first fluid passage adapted to provide pressurized fluid to the first cavity, and a second fluid passage is adapted to provide pressurized fluid to the second fluid passage.

Start-up clutch assembly

A start-up clutch and torsional-vibration damper assembly including a disk clutch having an outer disk carrier and an inner disk carrier, and a torsional vibration damper having a primary element, a secondary element, and a spring dampening mechanism. The spring dampening mechanism is disposed between and operatively couples the primary element and the secondary element. The torsional vibration damper connected in series to the disk clutch such that the torsional vibration damper and the disk clutch are juxtaposed to each other along a common axis with the primary element having substantially the same outside radius as the outer disk carrier.
