Rapid and precise recording of a VOI is provided while monitoring a robot-assisted movement of a medical object through a hollow organ of a patient. For actuating an x-ray device that has a recording system, a user input for the recording of a recording region is accepted. A previously recorded three-dimensional volume image of at least part of the body, in particular of the hollow organ is provided. A length of travel covered by the object from measurement data and/or control data of the robotic system is ascertained. The current position of the object is ascertained on the basis of the three-dimensional volume image making use of the ascertained length of travel covered and a starting position of the object. The recording system of the imaging device is moved for isocentering and/or superimposing the recording region about the current position of the object. An image of the recording region is recorded.

Position determining method, method for actuating an x-ray device and medical system

A system and method for generating an actuation signal for a robotic system for robot-assisted navigation of a medical object with a curved tip in a hollow organ of a patient. An an X-ray system for image monitoring of the intervention is assigned to the robotic system. The method includes determining a current relative position and relative orientation of the curved tip of the object relative to the hollow organ using the X-ray system, calibrating the robotic system on the basis of the determined current relative position and relative orientation of the tip of the object relative to the hollow organ, retrieving first information on a planned path section in the hollow organ, retrieving second information on at least one relative position and relative orientation or relative position sequence and relative orientation sequence of the curved tip of the same or a similar object relative to the hollow organ used during a navigation movement along at least one previously traversed path section in the hollow organ or another hollow organ from a memory unit, and generating an actuation signal for actuating the robotic system. The actuation takes account of the first and second information and the current relative position and relative orientation of the tip relative to the hollow organ.

Method for generating an actuation signal for a robotic system for robot-assisted navigation of a medical object and overall system

A method for automatically monitoring a robot-assisted movement of a medical object through a hollow organ of a medical object of a patient performed by a robotic system is provided. The method includes tracking movement of the medical object using a medical imaging device such that the medical object and/or the hollow organ is at least partially arranged in a recording region that is mappable by the imaging device. The tracking is effected by a relative movement between the recording system of the imaging device and the patient. An image of the recording region is recorded during the tracking. In each case, a further image is recorded at regular intervals. The current image in each case and/or sensor data from a sensor assigned to the robotic system or the object is evaluated to determine whether a situation relevant to decision-making and/or safety with respect to the robotic system is present.

Monitoring method and medical system

A medical imaging system includes a medical imaging device to map a mapping region inside an examination object, the medical imaging device being designed such that a location of the mapping region is changable in respect of the examination object; and a processing device, including a data interface, to robotically position a medical object inside the examination object, via a movement device. In an embodiment, the processing device is configured to determine an instantaneous position of the medical object; specify a target position for the medical object, the target position being defined relative to the mapping region; determine one or more control signals, configured to cause a movement of the medical object via the movement device from the instantaneous position to the target position; and provide the one or more control signals, via the data interface, to the movement device.

Systems and methods are provided for a patient support device for an x-ray device for use during an examination of a patient including a patient couch and at least one support () bearing the patient couch. The patient couch includes a first, x-ray-transparent material disposed in an at least partially flexible covering made from a second x-ray-transparent material. The first material includes a solid, dimensionally stable state and a deformable state, in particular at least partially liquid and/or gaseous state, that are linked by reversible phase transitions. The patient support device further includes at least one induction device for inducing at least one of the phase transitions of the first material between the states by applying and/or removing energy.

A method for providing a prognosis data record includes receiving a first image data record relating to an examination region of an examination object, and receiving an operating parameter of a medical object that is arranged at the examination region of the examination object and positioning information of the medical object that is arranged at the examination region. The prognosis data record is created by applying a trained function to input data. The input data is based on the first image data record, the at least one operating parameter, and the positioning information of the medical object. At least one parameter of the trained function is based on a comparison with a first comparison image data record. As compared with the first image data record, the first comparison image data record includes changes influenced by the medical object at the examination region. The prognosis data record is provided.

Providing a prognosis data record

An X-ray apparatus includes an X-ray source embodied to generate X-rays; an X-ray detector; and an X-ray reflector. The X-ray reflector is embodied to reflect X-rays generated by the X-ray source such that the reflected X-rays hit the X-ray detector. The X-ray detector is in particular embodied to detect the X-rays. The X-ray apparatus can, on the one hand, enlarge the available space above a patient. Furthermore, focusing via the X-ray reflector enables the power of the X-ray source to be increased while retaining a constant spatial resolution or the spatial resolution to be improved while retaining a constant power of the X-ray source.

A medical-robotic device that has a kinematic chain of movable components with an end effector at one end, with at least one force or torque sensor for the detection of at least one force or torque value on the kinematic chain. A control processor that controls the kinematic chain. An additional mechanical component is attached directly to the end effector or one of the movable components so that the additional component can transmit a force external to the device or a torque external to the device to the end effector or the movable component. The control processor determines the force external to the device or the torque external to the device on the basis of the at least one force or torque value detected, and controls the kinematic chain in dependence on the determined force external to the device or the determined torque external to the device, in order to increase the accuracy of the medical-robotic device.

A method for operating a medical-robotic device is provided. The robotic device includes a number of components able to be moved autonomously in an environment of the robotic device. Planning data for an autonomous movement or constraint of at least one subset of the movable components is provided to the robotic device. A movement or constraint of the corresponding movable components to be carried out autonomously by the robotic device is planned based on the planning data provided. The planned movement or constraint is visually presented. A method and a control module for calculating and displaying result data based on at least one medical image, which has been captured by an imaging device, are provided. At least one image is captured by the imaging device in a digital format with a plurality of bone fragments. Subsequently, a segmentation method is applied to the captured image for identification of the bone fragments contained in the image. Thereafter, a fragment-matching algorithm is executed on the segmented bone fragments for calculation of result data. A method for providing a spatial anatomical model of a body part with the aid of at least one imaging examination modality is provided. At least one digital representation of the at least partial body part is provided to a control device by the at least one imaging examination modality. Based on the at least one digital representation, the control device determines a digital model and transmits the digital model to an output device. The output device determines the spatial model and outputs the spatial model as a hologram or workpiece. The spatial model is determined as a function of at least one specifying control parameter that describes a relevant portion of the spatial model and/or a mode of representation of the spatial model and/or of the portion. The control parameter is determined based on an operator control action executed by a user and received by an operator control device.
