Provided, in one example, is a wellbore tool. The wellbore tool, in this example, includes a casing having three or more pads located on an outer diameter thereof, at least one of the pads having a pocket therein. The wellbore tool of this example additionally includes one or more batteries and one or more sensors located within the pocket, and one or more additional components coupled to the one or more sensors located within an inner diameter of the casing.

A progressing cavity device operates as a motor to impart torque to a bit. A stator of the device defines an internal profile having uphole stages with a first dimension being less than a second dimension of downhole stage. A rotor has an external profile with a constant outer dimension along its length. Disposed in the stator, the rotor defines cavities with the stator and is rotatable with pumped fluid progressing in the cavities from the uphole to downhole to transfer torque to the drive toward the downhole end. Although the rotor is subjected at the downhole end to a reactive torque from the bit, the interference fit of the rotor's constant dimension with the stator's downhole stages is less than with the uphole stages, which can mitigate issues with heat buildup in the downhole stages. The device can also operates as a progressing cavity pump.

Provided, in one aspect, is a drillable window assembly. The drillable window assembly, in this aspect, includes a first precut casing joint, the first precut casing joint including a first casing tubular having two or more radially offset slots along an interior surface thereof, and a second precut casing joint coupled to the first precut casing joint, the second precut casing joint including a second casing tubular having a sidewall opening formed therein. The drillable window assembly, as contained within this aspect, further includes an outer sleeve surrounding the sidewall opening in the second casing tubular.

Provided, in one aspect, is a deflector assembly. The deflector assembly may include a tubular member, the tubular member having an uphole lateral wellbore tubular portion and a downhole main wellbore tubular portion. The deflector assembly may further include an exit window located in a sidewall of the uphole lateral wellbore tubular portion, and a ramped deflector positioned within the uphole lateral wellbore tubular portion, the ramped deflector located proximate and ramping toward the exit window. The ramped deflector may include a through bore having a diameter (D) coupling the uphole lateral wellbore tubular portion and the downhole main wellbore tubular portion, the through bore forming a ramped deflector lip for allowing a first downhole tool having a diameter (D) less than the diameter (D) to pass through the ramped deflector to the downhole main wellbore tubular portion, and for diverting a second downhole tool having a diameter (D) greater than the diameter (D) toward the exit window.
