A damper assembly, in particular for a washing machine, comprises at least one damper which causes a damping effect, in particular an active damper, which can be arranged between two components of the washing machine which are movable relative to one another and can each be connected thereto, a regulation unit which is in signal communication with the damper and is intended to regulate the damping effect of the damper, at least one determination unit, which is in signal communication with the regulation unit, for determining at least one input variable, wherein the regulation unit is designed to transmit a regulation signal to the damper in dependence on the at least one input variable, the damper is designed to variably define its damping effect in dependence on the regulation signal. In addition to the at least one active damper, at least one passive damper can be provided.

A frictional damper includes a housing having a longitudinal axis, a tappet which is movable along the longitudinal axis, a frictional unit for generating a direction-dependent frictional force on the tappet, wherein the frictional unit includes at least one friction lining lying rubbingly against the tappet, and a switching unit for variably setting the frictional force.

Frictional damper

A frictional damper is designed with a tubular housing having a longitudinal axis, with a tappet, which is displaceable in the housing along the longitudinal axis and is led out at an open end of the housing, with a frictional element lying against the tappet and with a cap attached to the open end of the housing with axial prestressing relative to the longitudinal axis.

A piston housing unit includes a housing with a longitudinal axis, a piston rod that is displaceable, in particular along the longitudinal axis and/or around the longitudinal axis, a guide/damping unit for guiding and damping the displacement of the piston rod.

A piston housing unit comprises a housing with a longitudinal axis, a piston rod that is displaceable, in particular along the and/or around the longitudinal axis, a guide/damping unit for guiding and damping the displacement of the piston rod.

A switchable damper comprises a housing having a longitudinal axis, a plunger displaceable along the longitudinal axis, a piston arranged between the housing and the plunger, a friction lining arranged on the piston and a switching unit, which is switchable between a blocking arrangement, in which the piston is blocked with respect to a displacement along the longitudinal axis, and a free-moving arrangement, in which the piston is released with respect to a displacement along the longitudinal axis.

Switchable damper

A damper includes a housing with at least one axially offset longitudinally extending guide channel for receiving a plunger of a piston assembly. The plunger is axially offset from a control rod extending through the housing and the piston assembly. A coil spring surrounds the housing and extends between a hemispherical cap of the housing and the piston. The plunger includes a friction pad which engages the guide channel of the housing to provide frictional inter-engagement for the damper. In one embodiment, the housing includes a pair of axially offset guide channels and the piston assembly includes a pair of axially offset plungers which extend within a pair of guides of the housing. One of the plungers includes a linear sensor which provides signal information for use by a washer control circuit.

A frictional damper comprises a housing which has a longitudinal axis, a plunger which can be moved along the longitudinal axis, a frictional unit for generating a frictional force on the plunger, the frictional unit comprising at least one friction lining for bearing rubbingly against the plunger, and a friction lining carrier, on which the at least one friction lining is held, the friction lining carrier being arranged such that it can be moved relative to the plunger in the housing between a pulled-out position and a pushed-in position, and a pulled-out friction acting in the pulled-out position, which pulled-out friction is different from the pushed-in friction which acts in the pushed-in position.

Damper, in particular for washing machines with a spin cycle, with a housing having a central longitudinal axis and at least partially encompassing a housing interior by housing walls, a plunger displaceable in the housing along the central longitudinal axis, guided out of the housing and having at least one friction lining recess, fastening elements, arranged on open ends of the housing and the plunger, and at least one friction lining, arranged in the at least one friction lining recess and in frictional contact with opposite housing walls.

Damper

In a damper for spin-drying washing machines, it is provided, with a view to amplitude-dependent damping behaviour being obtained accompanied with manufacture at a low cost, that a frictional damping unit, which is disposed inside a casing, comprises an at least sectionally bare and elastic frictional damping lining for producing a given frictional damping effect, and at least one stop element which is stationary in relation to the casing and turned towards the at least one frictional damping lining, with the at least one stop element being designed for direct cooperation with the at least one frictional damping lining.
