A valve suitable for an air spring includes a housing body with a central longitudinal axis and channel. The housing body has a first valve opening fluidically connectable to an air spring volume, a second valve opening fluidically connectable to an air supply, which is fluidically connectable to an air spring volume, and a second valve opening which is fluidically connectable to an air supply. Each valve opening is fluidically connected or selectively connectable to the channel. A pressure limiter is provided to limit the pressure flowing out of the second valve opening, the pressure limiter including a third sealing agent and a second sealing agent associated with the second valve opening and selectively closing an opening, wherein pressurization of at least the third sealing agent displaces the second sealing agent due to the forced coupling such that it closes the corresponding opening or reduces the effective opening cross-section.

A pressure retaining valve including: a first valve body for an opening of an air spring, the first valve body having an access opening; a second valve body connected to the first valve body and having a chamber fluidly communicating with the access opening and having a side outlet opening; and a return member disposed outside the access opening in the chamber for providing a bias toward the access opening; a closure part disposed in the chamber and movable from a closed condition against the bias to an open condition; and an actuator part having a head portion, a shaft section, and a flow channel, the head portion disposed outside the access opening and having a larger diameter than the access opening, wherein the stem portion is movably disposed through the access opening into the chamber, and the actuator member can move the closure member out of the closed condition.

Pressure holding valve for an air spring and air spring comprising the pressure holding valve

An air spring includes a closing member, a rolling piston, and an air spring bellows connected to the rolling piston and the closing member to form a fluid-filled pressure chamber. A level control system for supplying and/or discharging fluid may be integrated into the pressure chamber to control level position based on air spring stroke. The level control system may have a control valve and an actuator connected to the control valve. The actuator may include a guide tube coupled to the rolling piston or closing member, and movably arranged within the pressure chamber. An actuating member may include a pin member and may operate the control valve. A compression spring may have a central spring and a biasing spring, and the guide tube may include a control flange coupled to the pin member, and the biasing spring may be supported to press the pin member against the control valve.

An air spring for a motor vehicle or a driver's cab of a motor vehicle has a cover, a rolling piston and at least one air spring bellows. At least two damping devices are integrated into the air spring.

Air spring with several damping devices

An air spring for damping and controlling a level position of a driver's cab or of a motor vehicle includes a lid, a rolling piston and at least one air spring bellows. At least one damping device is integrated into the air spring. A level control system is integrated into the air spring and is configured to at least one of supply and discharge compressed air, gas or a compressible medium so as to control the level position of the driver's cab or of the motor vehicle.

Air spring

An air spring assembly or air spring damper with an integrated valve control for controlling a level position of a vehicle or of a driver's cab includes a rolling tube, a lid and an air spring bellows which together delimit a pressure chamber with compressed air. A control valve includes an actuation device for feeding compressed air into the pressure chamber or for discharging compressed air from the pressure chamber. A compression spring device has a first end operatively connected to the rolling piston or the lid and a second end operatively connected to the actuation device. The compression spring device is configured with at least two parts including a central spring facing towards the rolling piston or the lid and a control valve biasing spring facing towards the control valve. The central spring is biased to a greater extent than the control valve biasing spring.

Air spring attachment system

An air spring device characterized in that a cover encloses a pot-shaped basic component and a separate connecting component with a first connecting region for one end of a bellows. The basic component and the connecting component are in direct contact with one another. In a region of the cover there is also provided, as a separate component, a holder for a protective collar. The holder is in direct contact with the connecting component. A common tightening ring, the two ends of which are fastened to each other by a connection, hold together, from the outside and in sealing manner, the basic component, the connecting component, and the protective collar holder.

A pneumatic suspension system comprising: a pneumatic suspension bellows made of an elastomeric material which encloses an air chamber whose volume varies, with an embedded strengthening support; a pressure reservoir having an outer diameter on which one end of the pneumatic suspension bellows is fastened by a clamping ring; and a pneumatic suspension piston having an outer diameter on which the other end of the pneumatic suspension bellows is also fastened by a clamping ring, and having a roll-off piston on whose outer wall the pneumatic suspension bellows can roll off while forming a first rolling fold. The pressure reservoir has a contoured roll-off surface outside of the first fastening area. The roll-off surface is provided for a second rolling fold which rests against the roll-off surface and can roll off in a limited manner compared to the first rolling fold.

Pneumatic suspension system

The invention relates to a pneumatic spring arrangement consisting of at least the following components: pneumatic spring bellows, a pneumatic spring cover, a pneumatic spring piston and a vibration damper having a container pipe and a piston rod. The inventive pneumatic spring arrangement is characterized in that the pneumatic spring piston is provided with an integrated clamping lock which consists of an outer ring body and an inner ring body. The bodies can be plugged into one another. The outer ring body comprises a collar and at least one spring arm which is provided with a barb. The inner ring body comprises an outer ring and an inner ring which are connected to each other in such a way that at least one plug aperture is provided for receiving the barb of the spring arm in a catching manner.
