A rotor bearing arrangement is provided for supporting a rotor shaft () of an electric motor having a longitudinal axis (L). The rotor bearing arrangement comprises a bearing saddle () for radially supporting a rotor shaft () of the electric motor in an operating state of the electric motor; and a biasing means for exerting a biasing force (F) towards the bearing saddle () in an operating state of the electric motor The rotor bearing arrangement is characterised in that the bearing saddle () is shaped such that it forms a dedicated main first contact area () and a dedicated main second contact area () designed to contact the rotor shaft () of the electric motor in an operating state of the electric motor.

A multi-component gear for an actuator is provided. The gear includes a first gear portion having an engagement head and a gear stem axially extending from the engagement head, and a second gear portion having a gear body which includes a plurality of gear teeth at a circumference thereof, the gear body being received around the engagement head of the first gear portion. The first gear portion is formed from a first material and the second gear portion is formed from a second material which has a lower dynamic hardness than the first material.

A cable connector assembly for an electrical device, which includes a cable connector having a pressing-member receiver, the pressing-member receiver including an electrically-conductive contact or a receiver for an electrically-conductive contact and an opposed wall portion. A cable having a cable terminal which is positionable on the cable connector in contact with the electrically-conductive contact is provided as well. A pressing member, such as a spring element, is provided which is insertable into the pressing-member receiver to contact the wall portion and the cable terminal, the pressing member holding the cable terminal against the electrically-conductive contact.

Method for the manufacture of actuators

An actuator for an electric parking brake system includes a motor, an output member, and a speed reduction device. The speed reduction device includes a transmission mechanism and a self-locking mechanism. The self-locking mechanism includes a fixed member, first and second rotating bodies, and a spring. The second rotating body transmits torque to the output member via a planetary gear mechanism. The spring prevents the brake from driving the motor.

An actuator () has a casing () and an output (). An electric motor () is disposed in a compartment () of the casing (). The output () is driven by the motor () through a gear train disposed within the casing (). The gear train includes a worm () on a shaft () of the motor () and a worm wheel () meshed with the worm (). A mounting clip () is arranged to resiliently press the motor () into the compartment). The mounting clip () has fingers () which engage axial ends of the motor () to support the motor () against axial movement and separation due to axial loading and/or external vibrations acting on the actuator ().

Vibration safe motor fixation in an actuator

A linear actuator has a stator with two stator coils and pole plates forming stator poles. A rotor is rotatably mounted to interact with the stator poles. The rotor has a hollow cup shaped permanent magnet fitted to a screw shaft. An output shaft, which is co-axial with the rotor, is driven by the rotor through a screw connection. The rotor is supported by a single rotary bearing located within the magnet, axially between axial ends of the permanent magnet.

Linear actuator

A bearing holder for fixing a bearing to a support structure such as a casing of a gearbox uses a single plate-like body. The body has a through hole, a plurality of hooks extending from a first side of the body and defining a first axial step limiting the axial movement of the bearing through the hole, and a plurality of projections extending from a second side of the body and arranged to be radially deformed to define a second axial step limiting the axial movement of the bearing through the hole in a second axial direction. Centering lips extending inwardly from the edge of the hole may be provided to fix the lateral position of the bearing.

Bearing holder

A stator for an electric motor has a stator core, a winding and a housing enclosing the stator core and winding. The stator core has a yoke and a plurality of poles extending inwardly from the yoke. The winding formed by coils wound about the poles of the stator core. The housing grips the stator core and has at least one inwardly deformed portion that retains the stator core in the housing and prevents rotational movement of the stator core relative to the housing. A method of producing the stator is also disclosed.
