A latch apparatus for a door having a first face and a second face includes a housing adapted for mounting on the first face of the door. The bolt member pivotally mounts to the housing and extends and retracts in and out from the housing and is urged toward an extended position by a return spring. A first push type handle mounts to the housing and retracts the bolt when pushed toward the door. A spindle extends through the door from a second latch pivotally mounted to the second face of the door. The spring back engages the spindle and provides for retracting the bolt upon rotation of the spindle.

Latch apparatus

A door closer includes a cylinder and a piston sliding along the cylinder with a piston rod extending from the cylinder, with the closer mounting at one end to the door and at a second end to the door frame. The door closer has a speed adjustment know extending from a first end for varying the closure rate. Adjustable mounting brackets provide for flexibility in mounting configurations and closing force. A door lock maintains the piston in an extended position and keeps the door open. The lock includes a washer sliding on the piston rod in a first position and locking the rod at a second position. The washer has a tab that engages an angled surface in the first position to prevent locking engagement with the piston rod. A rotatable end cap rotates the washer between the locked position and the unlocked position.

Door closer

A casement window operator includes a linkage with an extensible arm pivotally connecting to a driven arm mounting to the window frame. An extended end of the driven arm pivotally connects to a link mounting to the sash bracket on the pivoting sash. The extensible arm includes a screw drive member connected to a friction bearing of a cover. Rotation of the screw extends and retracts the cover to lengthen and shorten the extensible arm. The operator includes an actuator with a handle mounted to a first bevel gear intermeshing with a second bevel gear. The bevel gears are mounted in a housing which pivotally rotates as the linkage is actuated. The second bevel gear is coupled to the screw member of the extensible arm.

Casement window operator

A latch device for securely locking a keeper mounted on a window within a latch housing located on a window frame. The latch includes a locking bolt which is biased into an open position by a spring. The handle is coupled to the bolt through links. Rotation of the handle causes rotation of the bolt which captures and may lift the keeper to accommodate keeper misalignment.
