A terminal feedthrough is provided. The terminal feedthrough includes a terminal pin insert having a pair of ends. A polymeric body having an externally threaded region is disposed about the terminal pin insert to form an interface with the terminal pin insert. At least one of threads of the externally threaded region and a cylindrical pin interface is configured to provide a flame-quenching pathway.

A magnetic flowmeter includes a pipe having a non-conductive liner, afield coil adjacent to the pipe and configured to generate a magnetic field across a fluid flowing through the pipe, a first electrode located in a first tunnel passing through the pipe and into the liner, and a second electrode located in a second tunnel passing through the pipe and into the liner. The electrodes are configured to sense a voltage induced by the magnetic field across the fluid flowing through the pipe. The flowmeter also includes a sealed compartment attached to the pipe and enclosing the field coil, the first electrode, or the second electrode. The flowmeter further includes a vapor sensor within the sealed compartment configured to sense relative humidity in the compartment, and an electronics compartment having transmitter circuitry connected to the field coil, the first electrode, the second electrode, and the vapor sensor.

Method of controlling shifting of two-speed motor

A two-speed gerotor motor ( ) including motor valve means ( ) to communicate fluid to and from expanding ( E) and contracting ( ) fluid volume chambers. The motor includes a shift valve spool ( ) to cause the motor to operate either in the normal, low-speed, high-torque (LSHT) mode (FIG. ) or in a high-speed, low-torque (HSLT) mode (FIG. ). When the motor operates in HSLT mode, certain of the volume chambers comprise recirculating volume chambers ( R). The motor ( ) defines a supplemental fluid passage ( ) through which fluid is communicated from a system charge pump ( ) to each of the recirculating volume chambers ( R). A control valve ( ) is operable, in a shift mode (S) to permit fluid communication from the charge pump ( ) to the supplemental fluid passage ( ), thus preventing cavitation during shifting of the motor ( ), especially when shifting from the HSLT mode to the LSHT mode.

Anti cavitation system for two-speed motors

An integral brake assembly for a gerotor motor of the type including valving (41) disposed forwardly of the gerotor gear set (15). Orbital and rotational movement of the gerotor star member (31) is transmitted to an output shaft (43) by a main drive shaft (51), which includes a rearwardly extending brake portion (107). The motor includes an endcap assembly (21) defining a brake chamber (73) into which the brake portion (107) extends. A cylindrical brake member (91) is disposed in the brake chamber (73), and includes a circular surface (109) for frictional engagement with a lock piston (75). The brake member (91) also includes a forward generally annular surface (115) for frictional engagement with either the gerotor gear set (15) or an adjacent wear plate (89). The invention at least reduces the need for expensive friction discs in order to achieve a desired level of brake torque, and also utilizes inherent friction in various brake parts for some of the required brake torque.
