Infusion pump for medicinal liquids

An electromagnetic fluid pump having a magnet attached to a reciprocating piston and a hall effect switch detecting the magnetic field generated by the moving magnet. In a first position of the magnet, the magnetic field through the hall effect switch is in a first direction causing the hall effect switch to generate a signal having a first polarity. In a second position of the magnet the magnetic field through the hall effect switch is reversed, reversing the polarity of the signal generated by the hall effect switch. An electronic switch circuit responsive to the signal generated by the hall effect having the first polarity to energize the solenoid coil to retract the piston from the first position to the second position against the force of a spring and further responsive to the signal having a reversed polarity to deenergize the solenoid coil when the piston is in the second position.

Hall switch pump

A wet motor gerotor fuel pump for pumping fuel from a fuel source to an internal combustion engine. The fuel pump includes a pump case having an inlet chamber, a motor chamber, and a pump chamber therebetween. An inlet housing provides appropriate fuel inlet to a gerotor pump in the pump chamber. An outlet housing receives the pressurized fuel and delivers the fuel to the internal combustion engine. An electric motor mounted in the motor chamber is adapted to pass the fuel therethrough such that the fuel is pumped substantially through the gerotor pump along a flow axis through the complete pump assembly to the internal combustion engine.

Wet motor geroter fuel pump

A roller drive conveyor for conveying a rectangular, planar rigid article is disclosed. The conveyor includes two opposed, spaced apart rows of individually mounted wheels having a bottom flange, the upper surface of which provides the only constantly conveying contact. In a specific embodiment, a magazine for storing a stack of the articles and an extractor in operative relationship with the conveyor for extracting the objects from the magazine and feeding them to the conveyor are disclosed. In other specific embodiments, the conveyor includes a test station with a stop pin and locating pins for accurately positioning the conveyed article.

Flat article conveyor

An axial air gap magnetic drive motor having a diaphragm to seal the drive motor from the pump is disclosed. The drive motor drives a positive displacement pump through a magnetic coupling on both sides of the diaphragm. The gerotor pump includes an annular backing plate member, an inlet member and a three piece pump which is rotated by the drive motor through the magnetic coupling. The three piece pump includes a male rotor gear, an annular female gear cooperatively engaging the male rotor gear and an outer annular member disposed around the annular female gear. The inside diameter of the outer annular member is eccentric a predetermined radial distance from the axial centerline. The outer annular member, the inlet member and the backing plate member are pinned to one another to prevent relative movement therebetween. A pair of biasing members are mounted between the opposite end of the housing and the inlet member to urge the inlet member towards the three piece pump and the backing plate member to reduce axial clearance therebetween.

Fuel pump with magnetic drive

A low cost electromagnetic fluid pump having molded structural plastic housing components, a biased reciprocating hollow piston, and a pair of plastic flapper valves providing for a unidirectional fluid flow is disclosed. An integrated circuit timer periodically energizes a solenoid coil producing an oscillating magnetic field reciprocating the piston.

Low cost electromagnetic fluid pump

An electromagnetic fluid pump having a magnet attached to a reciprocating piston and a Hall effect switch detecting the magnetic field generated by the moving magnet. In a first position of the magnet, the magnetic field through the hall effect switch is in a first direction causing the hall effect switch to generate a signal having a first polarity. In a second position of the magnet the magnetic field through the hall effect switch is reversed, reversing the polarity of the signal generated by the hall effect switch. An electronic switch circuit responsive to the signal generated by the hall effect having the first polarity to energize the solenoid coil to retract the piston from the first position to the second position against the force of a spring and further responsive to the signal having a reversed polarity to deenergize the solenoid coil when the piston is in said second position.

A voltage generator which provides the biasing voltage to a telemetry transmitter positioned inside the tire of a moving vehicle is disclosed. The entire transmitting system, including the antenna, is self-contained within the pneumatic tire; and, accordingly, there is no need for connecting wires of any nature to be extended outside the tire containing the invention. The invention utilizes one of several available types of voltage generators to generate a voltage in response to the rotation of the tire as the vehicle moves within a coil. As is known, as a tire rotates along a road, the tire deflects and flattens along the area which contacts the road. The transducer used in the invention generates a voltage in response to this tire deflection. The voltage thus generated are processed and utilized to provide the biasing voltage for a transmitter. Various measured parameters, such as tire pressure, temperature, inflation, and fatigue can then be provided from appropriately positioned and styled transducers and the measured telemetry signals transmitted by the transmitter to a receiver within the operator's compartment of the vehicle. The invention, therefore, is directed toward a means for providing the biasing voltage to the transmitter without the need for coupling to outside voltage sources or receiving equipment. Additionally, several transducers can be equally spaced around the parameter of the tire to thereby yield a biasing voltage which is more constant and higher in voltage than if a single voltage generator were utilized.
