In some implementations, a ride control simulation system may receive a request to simulate a ride control system controlling a movement of a passenger vehicle on a ride system, wherein the request includes vehicle information regarding the passenger vehicle and ride system information regarding the ride system. The ride control simulation system may execute, based on the request, a computer model to simulate the ride control system controlling the movement of the passenger vehicle on the ride system. Executing the computer model comprises randomly selecting values from one or more data distributions. The computer model is executed using the first value, the second value, and the third value as inputs. The ride control simulation system may cause an adjustment to an operation of the ride system based on a result of executing the computer model.

Simulating an operation of a control system of a ride system based on stochastic events

Some implementations of the disclosure are directed to a method, comprising: receiving tapped data that was tapped from a controller of an industrial control system (ICS) while the controller executed first control code to control ICS devices of the ICS, the tapped data used during execution of the first control code, and the tapped data comprising input data obtained from one or more input components of the controller communicatively coupled to the ICS devices, or output data obtained from one or more output components of the controller communicatively coupled to the ICS devices; and after receiving the tapped data, executing, using at least the tapped data, second control code that provides an emulation of the controller, the emulation comprising running, using at least the tapped data, a process of the first control code at a faster rate than it is run by the controller executing the first control code.

Industrial control system data tap and model for managing industrial control system

Some implementations of the disclosure are directed to tapping input/output (I/O) data from an industrial control system (ICS) or applying the tapped I/O data to a learned model to perform predictive or prescriptive maintenance. In one implementation, a method comprises: tapping I/O data from a controller of an ICS while the controller executes first control code to control one or more devices of the ICS; transmitting the tapped I/O data over a network to a second system; and executing, via the second system, second control code comprising an original or modified version of all or a subset of the first control code of the ICS, wherein the second control code executes in response to receiving the tapped I/O data. The output of executing the second control code may be provided to a model to predict a future event involving the ICS or to prescribe maintenance of the ICS.

A system for automating design of a support frame for artificial rockwork structures. The system includes a processor and memory storing a three dimensional (3D) mesh for an exterior surface of a rockwork structure. The system includes an offset module that is code/instructions or software executed by the processor to process the 3D mesh and generate an offset mesh defining a 3D topology of the exterior surface at an offset distance from the 3D mesh. The system also includes a chip-defining module including software executed by the processor to divide the offset mesh into a plurality of subsections. The system further includes a rebar line-defining module with software executed by the processor to generate an assembly of rebar pieces for each of the subsections that defines for each of the rebar pieces a length, a location within the subsection, and a set of spaced apart bends.

Automated system for design and fabrication of artificial rockwork structures

An iterative method and system for performing the method are described that implement a technique to fit irregularly shaped items into a defined space. In particular, one example may take the form of a method including predetermining one or more layouts for a defined space. Each layout has a plurality of shapes. The method also includes receiving a set having a plurality of items and determining one or more configurations formed by assigning to each shape in the layout an item from the set. The items match the shapes to which they are assigned. Additionally, the method includes scoring each configuration and selecting one configuration based at least in part upon the scoring.
